Intex 1000 GPH (Gallon Per Hour) Pool Filter Pump for up to 15ft pools

I have just received my pump, After my initial concerns were eased by by the seller over the exact power of this model as the power ratio is marked on the box in cubic meters not in Gallons per hour but after a quick google conversion of stated power i can confirm this pump is 1000 u.s gallons per hourThe set it up very quick, the instructions in the book are quite clear I also watched a couple of videos on you tube before purchase which I find helps a lot .The pump is far more powerful than my last pump I upgraded because having gone from a 10 ft eay set up pool to a 12ft frame pool the old pump was not powerful enough to cope .whilst the difference in price of this pump is treble that of my old pump you can immediately see the difference in power when you switch on and i was most impressed of the amount of debris collecting by the filter head after only a few hours running especially as the pool had only been set up 2 days and did not look dirty at all.time will tell obviously about the long term quality of this pump but first impressions are very high which is good news as filling this pool took 13 hours by hose and I will need to make sure I keep the water quality high as frequent refills are not a viable optionMy only little quibble is that the mains cable could be a little longer as the hoses on this pump are much longer than last pump and this would allow the pump to be placed further away for safety reasons ,but as I never run any pump when anyone is in the pool indeed I make sure the pump is not even plugged in when pool is used it is not that big an issueI would defiantly recommend for any pool 10ft or bigger

I am now on my 5th pump over a span of 15 years. I do leave the pool up all year round so pump left outside throughout the year. My previous one, a less powerful one would take around 3 days to clear a green pool. This new one is done within a day. Pump is very efficient. I have not noticed any obvious increase in electricity use either.

Bought this pump to replace 530 litre per hour pump which was supplied with pool and was totally inadequate. This pump can pump water thro fountain to centre of pool and cleans pool quicker. Filter does not clog so easily and is simple to clean. Water is also aerated

Bought a 10ft pool with pump! Pump was terrible didn’t work at all! Tried to get a replacement still waiting! In the meantime bought this! Absolutely brilliant pump keeps the water clear powerful and consistent! So glad I bought it! Worth the money!

I don’t recommend worked two days only than stopped filtering and water wasn’t circulating

This was for my grandchildrens swimming pool and it lasted less than 3 months we are now losing the pool because the water is disgusting due to no pump the company are not doing anything

Really works great and is strong for a 10 foot round pool but really kept the oil water cleaner

Replaced old pump and filter, it would help to inform the buyer of the hoses diameter, retrofitting to existent equipment could be time consuming and frustrating.

Firstly, the customer service is wonderful and very professional. We got this larger pump for our 30” x 12ft above ground pool. When we first purchased this pump it was working great and was powerful enough to keep our pool crystal clear with just a chlorine tablet. However, just a month after it stopped working, so we contacted the seller and they were very prompt and sent us out a replacement immediately. I would recommend this pump for the size of pool we have, but not sure if it would be powerful enough for anything larger. All and all we are pretty happy with it, but gave 4 stars because of longevity of the product
