Does not fit Rock Island 1911m1
I didn't want to give 1 star because they are beautiful and feel good. Wood looks perfect. It just does not fit my RIA 1911. It is too short.

Buyer beware
I ordered these grips and they don't fit.In the description of the item it clearly shows that the distance between the grip screws is 78mm or 3 inches.That is not the case.The product came finally into my hands exactly one day after the devolution deadline.Thanks seller.Not happy.Gave it one star because it's a requirement, doesn't deserve any rating.

Great if you want your 1911 to look 100 yrs old- otherwise meh…
These are just ok. Darker stained than I expected with more of a dry vs rich, deep finish that shows off the wood grain.The texture is grippy.All depends on what you want.If you prefer a dark, aged look that will blend into your blued GI style pistol to look 100 yrs old, these are for you.If you prefer a gorgeous BBQ gun, I’d pass on these. There are countless 1911 grip options out there. These are middle of the road.
