Tasty very tasty and affordable bread.
I love the taste of Biona organic rye bread just on its own but it’s nice with cheese or crispy bacon too. It ticks the box for healthy food and keeps well for a long time so I also keep it as a standby.

Biona Organic Rye Bread Amaranth and Quinoa, 500g
Excellent quality bread and very healthy. Perfect for fried eggs on toast or just with butter.If you want to maximise the flavour and prevent annoying breakages, you should toast the bread for a long time. I have to put it in the toaster twice (doing a 180deg turn, so all sides get a little bit more crispy).It is far more satisfying than a traditional white loaf and fills you up for much longer.Try this: -Twice toasted rye bread; butter; wild alaskan smoked salmon; vintage cheddar; horseradish; fresh parsley leaves and dill.

I usually like rye bread but this stuff is really dry and goes hard soon after opening. Its as if its stale

I read some of the lower rated reviews and they sound as though they're written by people trying rye bread for the first time. I personally love rye bread and eat it on a daily basis, as such I thought I'd treat myself to some fancier rye bread. Big mistake. Despite the bread itself looking fine and it being over a week away from it's use by date it tasted of mould. Theres clearly an issue here, either it wasn't stored correctly in whichever wearhouse it was sourced from or something else is wrong with the product or there's just a bad batch. Im a little worried as it's a consumable and I hope that this is just a one off. I however won't be buying again - very disappointed.

Bag of crumbs
We’ve always loved this rye bread, but it’s impossible to find it for sale anywhere in our rural area. So I decided to splash out and buy it online. It still has the same great taste, but unfortunately the packaging was so poor that half of it was a crushed bag of crumbs. Disappointing.
