KhombuSeneca2 mens Hiking Boot

It's a light weight, summer time recreational boot. Sole insert is not great but you can change that. True size, and there is room for feet movement, not tight, good for hot weather. It's more recreational boot , not for serious hikers.

These size 9 1/2 hiking boots fit perfectly. They were comfortably broken after a couple of hikes. I was skeptical about buying footwear online. But, the size was the same as a different model of Khombu hiking boots I previously wore.

Lasted roughly 1 to 2 months of regular wear. The shoe sole on both sides has split in half and the ends are frayed and patchy, looking as if I've owned them for years

At first glance, they're pretty cool. They look good.Once you start looking around... they show some issues.Like the finishing stitches on the sides of the tongue.The fact that I can lift up the sole support by putting my fingers under it... think there's a spot of glue at the heel and another at the toe..I would not hike a mile at a State Park in these. Or more than a couple miles at a City Park.Best left to work or school in the fall and possibly winter.I feel like the outer skin will also peel off the nice layer and leave the fuzzy mid-layer stone of these cheaper shoe materials do when they get moist and meet any abrasion whatsoever, like walking through morning grass while hiking.

Bought for my husbands last minute backpacking trip. He was only able to break them in for 1 day before leaving, but they were comfortable and no issues on his trip.
