I have a tiny 3.5 lb Maltese(adult). Are these suitable for her to chew on? How risky are they as a choking hazard?

They are not a "hard" chew but a 3.5 # Maltese might find these long lasting. My dogs range in size from 15#s - 45#s. I cut the beams into quarters for my small guy & he is still satisfied with his chew time. Truth be told, they have tried swallowing larger pieces, but they easily "cough it up" and finish chewing.

How long do these last in comparison to bully sticks?

My Aussies finish their beams within minutes of getting them. These are not "long lasting" treats/chewing options. For "chewing enjoyment", stick with the bully sticks.

Is there a difference in size between the cod and wolfish?
