Worth every single penny

I’ve been using the Purilens Plus Preservative-Free saline for a while now, and it has been consistently reliable. The formula is very gentle on my eyes, and I appreciate that it’s completely preservative-free—great for sensitive eyes or anyone prone to irritation. The 120 ml bottles are convenient, and the 12-pack lasts a good amount of time. The solution feels clean, works well for rinsing and filling scleral lenses, and doesn’t cause any dryness or discomfort. Overall, a dependable saline solution that delivers exactly what it promises. I’ll continue purchasing it.

I tried several solutions as insertion fluid for my sclerals these by far where the only ones that helped with fogginess or any irritation. Other liquids made my eyes feel like I was opening my eyes under the sea (saltiness), these feel really good on my eyes for longer periods of time, would recommend these. I think the reason for these because these are buffered and pH-Balanced with boric acid and sodium borate. This means it’s formulated to maintain a pH very close to natural tears, offering extra comfort, especially for those with dry or sensitive eyes like my self.

If you wear contacts, especially sclerals, this is the best way to go. It is totally preservative free and helps to keep your eyes clear. It can sometimes be tricky to find, but there are reliable sources on line at reasonable prices.

Before 2015, I used to order unisol online or buy it directly in the USA for 5 yesrs (since 2010) as it did not get sold anywhere. When the manufacturers stopped producing unisol, Purilens came out as a savior from Washington and New York. Years ago, I visited purilens lab located in a basement in Manhattan, NYC. Great work and team. I have seen throughout these years that Purilens is by far the best replacing solution for unisol; it is the only solution that is soft and healthy to my eyes. I noticed that it sometimes help soothe my allergic red eye when I apply purilens directly into my eyes so arguably i can also be used as a replacement of eyedrops lol. That’s because it’s neutral alkaline - not the typical commercial lens disinfectant solution. The price in the US is v good and I understand why it’s so expensive ordering it online because of it is not sold in pharmacies.

The box arrived in mint condition, ahead of time and exactly as ordered. Will definitely reorder when the time comes. My wife started using it on our Mini Pomeranian, works better than the recommended eye wipes. I find it does have a little sting a little, when I first insert my lens, which I assume is the boric acid? The volume of the order was excellent and the price was very reasonable, used to use Lacril tears and the pink saline tubes, I’m finding this solution a very good replacement . I ordered it after reading a review of shard contact eye solutions recommend by a keratinous sufferer who wears scleral lens. I have yet to try the cleaning solution he recommend, but so far they were great tips. Cheers Cliff

YOU CAN SAFELY USE EACH BOTTLE FOR UP TO 14 DAYS!! THAT IS GREAT NEWS…. And no one knows this even though it’s in the manufacturer’s insert. As someone who has ordered 32 boxes of this I know it feels good to try and save on this product. You can save on it by using the same bottle to fill your PROSE device or scleral lenses for more than 2 days. Try it - I have never got an infection from this- I am careful to use it properly. So go ahead stop spending so much money and wasting the saline by throwing it out after 2 days it is still perfectly fine and will not harm your eyes. Good Luck- if you doubt this read the package insert and call Purilens. I spoke to a pleasant gentleman there yesterday who confirmed this.
