Last week I tried to replace a bulb in the security light using an old set of aluminium steps that were not tall enough and wobbled. That decided me that I needed new safer steps. I ordered the 4 step version of these and their first job was to replace the bulb. The height was great, the steps were wide and deep and there was no wobble and I felt very safe. Easy to get up and down the steps. They are not too heavy to move around and they close very neatly to store. Have since used them to clean the windows, so much easier than before. Great build quality and the colour white with blue steps stop them looking industrial.

I bought this when I stood on my dining table to change the lightbulb and fell off.. luckily I was ok but it made me realise that safety is paramount. This is perfect, it has sturdy treads and easy to fold away. Not too heavy to carry. It has four steps that are wide enough for me to feel comfortable standing on. I haven’t ventured to the fourth step though because I’m almost 70, not keen on heights and it’s a step too far for me.

This is a really well made ladder the foot pads are a good size and the price is good. It is sturdy in use and feels very safe.

The step ladder arrived on time and looks as it does in images. It is quite heavy which is reassuring. It feels strong and stable when standing on top step. So far I have used it to hang curtains which can be an awkward job. It opens easily and folds neatly. Good value for money. No assembly required.

Really easy to put up. Stable and strong. Didn’t feel unsafe using them even when I had to use the top step. Easy to put away and store against flat wall. Just love the girly pink. And since it’s me using them I don’t care they are pink. Can’t see my boys wanting to use them for this reason so they won’t go walk about !!! Although my daughters may want to !!!

Best ladders I've ever had love them

This is a reasonably good 4-step ladder which should surface for most jobs in and around the home. The steps are deep & wide, so you can stand on them without fear of losing your balance... The step is larger than both your whole feet, so there is no part of your feet unsupported. The frame is made of tubular steel painted white. It is a reasonably attractive design. The ladder is sturdy and strong, but it does make the ladder somewhat heavy. Weight = 6.6kg. Aluminium ladders are possible, and are lighter, but they need a different strutted (non-tubular) design. The four steps of the ladder get you up to 90cm off the ground, which should be enough for reaching most ceilings and lightbulbs. The ladder is wide and the legs are widely spaced, so it is stable and unlikely to fall over. The grip at the top is nice and comfortable, but not useful if you are standing on the 3rd or 4th steps. There are a whole lot of diagramatic warnings & instructions on the side, most of which I understand !! One of the signs says the ladder has been tested to 900lbs (=408kg), but the advice is not to exceed 150kg as standard. The feet are slightly rubberised, and should be non-slip. Folded it is quite thin, but quite tall. Dimensions folded = 141cm x 43.5cm x 6.3cm (h w d). When unfolding, the top step slots firmly into a metal bar, which means that the ladder can't re-fold (by mistake) without a significant push. It is a good ladder, which should surface for most home users. If you need to get up to the level of a first floor window, then it won't be tall enough. My only issue with it is the plastic steps... I have a 100% aluminium metal ladder which is almost 30 years old, and I still completely trust it. I don't know how long the plastic steps will last. Should I trust it for 15 years and then throw it away? Maybe 30 years? All I know is that plastic deteriorates structurally over time, more so with extremes of temperature and chemical exposure. I don't want the plastic to break while I'm up it, especially in 30 years time if I'm still climbing ladders then. The front of each step has a metal bar under it (making it more stable), but the back of the step is plastic only, and it bows if you put all of your weight through it. It is slightly disconcerting. In 30 years from now, I think that bow would be significantly more disconcerting.

Feels sturdy and stable when in use. I use it to fit front cover in my caravan and store it in the roof box on the car. Not to heavy either.

Super sturdy and can hold a grown man’s weight.

This stepladder looks just like in the pictures, it is solidly made and very sturdy. It also stands solid on the ground and doesn't wobble when you stand on it. The steps are wide and not slippery to have a comfortable stand on it. Perfect heights to reach high cabinets, hang curtains, put pictures on a wall and a thousand other uses, without having to drag out the big heavy ladder. Even on the top step it feels safe and sturdy, and the raised padded handle is great to lean against for extra balance. It is comparable light weight and easy to carry or maneuver around. I got mine in the color pink and it just looks so cute, an added bonus 😀 It is a great value for the money and I'm very happy with my purchase ✨️
