Raw Organic Ceylon Cinnamon (True Cinnamon) - Vegan - Gluten Free (70g)

Unfortunately, all cinnamon these days bought at supermarkets have absolutely no information regarding where they hail from, whether or not they are "cassia" or "ceylon" and what is actually in them. So, at least with this brand, you know what you are getting, it is a decent amount, although my jar, was 10 percent missing. Perhaps they just didn't want to fill my particular jar to the top that day.If you are used to the barkier taste of cassia you might be surprised by the sweetness by ceylon cinnamon. It does taste different, I actually prefer cassia, but because of the "issues" with it, it is safer to eat ceylon, especially if you are consuming it in large quantities.Bottom line--it tastes sweet, but still like cinnamon, and it is better for you than shop bought mysterious brown powder in a little tiny container.

I have never tried "real" cinnamon before, as it is called, but I can tell teh difference right away with the common one we always buy from supermarkets. This one isn't bitter and it has a slightly more light color. Is it expensive for cinnamon? Yes, if you compare it with the standard one, but if you try to put 1 gram of cinnamon a day in your nutritional goals, like me, definately go for it, the standard one is very high on a toxin that is linked with cancern.Arrived in a day for me.

It's nice, but leaves a slimy, mucus-like residue at the base of the cup. it's very irritating.

Very happy with product. Use it in my tea, yogurt and over fruits. Beautiful smell and taste.
