The item performed excellently! It was used to repair bike derailler cable. Good clean cut.The only small bitch point is the plastic guards on the handle, slide off too easily.A drop of glue was a easy fix.Nice cutters at a fair price.

Works as advertised, the cable that I used it for was fine which was a brake cable for a bike and the crimpers for that it came with were handy. This is a very good tool for the price that I bought it for, and would recommend as the building quality is not that bad and cuts cable with ease and not much effort is needed to put in. It fits most cables that I work with so this tool was a worth while investment as well as not taking up much space in my tool box which is perfect. The durability seems to also be good for the amount of time that I have used it for. Seems like solid metal so it should not degrade in a very long time.

Perfect for those bike brake and shifter cables - cut them like butter. And the crimping slot is very practical to secure the little caps that keep the cables from fraying. The price is very good, too. I expect this tool to last for many decades to come. It certainly can handle thicker cables, but I only really work on the family bicycles (plus, my motorcycle, but those cables never really needed replacement...).

Alright, so I just picked up a new pair of wire cutters, and I'm pretty stoked about them. I've been using some old, dull ones for ages, and it was a real pain trying to cut through anything. These new ones are like a hot knife through butter, Seriously, it's so satisfying to snip wires now! The grip is also super comfortable, so my hand doesn't cramp up after a few cuts. I've already tackled a bunch of projects with them. I'd recommend looking into a pair if you are like me and have been putting off the purchase.

Adequate cable cutters for a bike refurbishing project. We don't need the best cable cutters on the market, and these fit the bill. Reasonably priced, reasonable quality. Did a nice job of cutting the cable as well as the cable housing without crushing or crimping the housing (which was really what I cared the most about). Quality seems pretty good. I'm only doing one or maybe a few bikes, not working in a shop or anything, so this was a great balance.
