I love the layout of the thumbsticks matching xbox, The quality is spot on, the button seems pretty responsive but I have noticed my right trigger has this weird mechanic where I need to press the top of it rather than the back to get a proper execution of it. I think this could be resolved in the app but not worked that out yet as never felt the need to use it, would still recommend it. Jubbly ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great controller that SUPPORTS the Switch 1 AND 2 *by S***U on 13 April 2025* I loved the colour and watched a few video reviews all praising the 8bitdo Ultimate controller, including its dock. After doing hefty searching online, I found out how to connect it to the Switch. You need to switch on "Pro Controller Wired Communication" from "Controller and Sensors" in System Settings, then plug in the included receiver dongle. Finally, you need to press and hold 'minus' + 'LB' together until your Switch shows it has paired with the controller. I had it on 'X' input from the toggle switch on the back of the controller. Ignore the fact 'Switch' isn't mentioned, nor the lack of Bluetooth. This controller is definitely 100% compatible with the Switch. I've also tried it on the original and OLED models too. The latter through a 3rd party dock. Update 1: (Switch 1) With the new system update, you might need to use another controller to select it (greyed out) from the "Find new controllers" section. Update 2: (Switch 2) You will need to download new firmware for the 2.4 GHZ receiver. Search for this article: "8BitDo Releases Firmware Patches for Switch 2 Compatibility" then download from "More Devices (Parent Directory)" the following: "Ultimate24GRR110.zip".
