Manual how to love
I have read many spiritual books and this is my favorite. If you are in the path of truly wanting to walk your faith and prove your love of Christ, this book will get you there. It is direct and to the point. Every sentence is pointed without fluff. Mother Theresa explains what prayer, love, humility and charity means how how to achieve living and practice Christ teachings.I would read one sentence or paragraph and stop to mediate upon it to truly grasp its full message and meaning. Prayer requires silence of mind and heart to hear God because He speaks in silence. It takes tremendous amount of discipline to be silent and the only time I am able to quiet my mind and heart is during adoration. How you pray requires humility and love to be worthy of God. You can't FAKE with God. There is no shortcut. He asks us to strive for perfection and perfection isn't easy nor quick. It takes discipline and persistence. The path to holiness and sainthood which all of us are called to be is life long exercise. None of us, not even Mother Theresa are perfect or be able to achieve it excluding Virgin Mother which is humbling. O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee. St Mother Theresa, pray for us.No Greater Love is an easy read. Inspirational. Difficult to put into practice but not impossible with God.

A Beautiful Book that Could Change the World
"I comfort Jesus in the distressing disguise of the poor." ~ Mother TeresaThere are a few books that could change the world if enough people read them and this is one of them. I have rarely been so touched by a book and I found myself crying at times because the message in this book is so amazingly beautiful. It is probably impossible to completely emulate Mother Teresa. She was so selfless in her interactions with the poorest of the poor. And yet by reading this book you may be convinced to do something big or small to help the world."No Greater Love" is a book to treasure and to read again and again. It is truly one of the most inspirational books I've ever read. Reading this book is truly an expansive experience. Mother Teresa's words of love fill your own heart with love that you can then share with others. In all my years of attending church I can't remember anyone teaching me to pray the way Mother Teresa does in her first chapter. She then also speaks about giving, being holy, working to help the poor, forgiveness, children, suffering and death. She lovingly explores each topic while making it clear that she is serving Christ in all his distressing disguises.I think that reading this book could really change your life. You don't have to run off to become a nun to change the world. You can support The Missionaries of Charity by writing to 164 Milagra Drive, Pacifica, CA 94044.~The Rebecca Review

Opinion of a nonchirstian person
When reading this book two things come to mind:1. Mother Teresa knew. She knew love, she knew Christ, she knew service2. There is a strong influence from the church in her writing. As a person who doesn’t follow the church but loves God, I was discouraged to feel the influence of the church in Mother Teresa writing. Her ideas seem to reflect sometimes what the religions teach to keep the masses controlled. Yet underneath it all, you can also feel she was a being beyond all the nonsense. She knew what it meant to be of service and delivered love. She had to move within the frame of the church but ultimately gave her love and service and teaching. There is a lot to learn from her words if you are willing to look deeper into their meaning

Breathtaking
Honestly, amazing. I’m not catholic and I know very little about the catholic faith. I love Jesus with my whole heart and came across a few quotes by Mother Teresa that were beautiful. I instantly got on Amazon to see what I could find out about her. This book blew me away. Her love for Jesus and for people are inspiring. Even if you’re not catholic, please read anyway. I can’t put it down. You will walk away feeling like you need to do more for Jesus. You will want to serve others and also love within your own household. I hope this finds you well.

Great for a devotional book
Mother Teresa shares her heart and wisdom in this God honoring book. Though meant to be an inspirational book to guide the reader to love, pray and serve, the book also is laid out in a way that would lend itself to be an excellent devotional book, I'm not Catholic, but this book trancends denominational boundries. Mother Teresa shows her love of God and inspires the reader to serve with love, and not on a grand scale but by serving your neighbor and those in need. The book is a quick read. The first 3/4 of the book changed my life. The biography and interview with Mother Teresa was the ony drawback. I felt it took away from wisdom and inspiration that Mother Teresa was imparting. I would highly recomend this book. I will be reading this again.

Best book I’ve ever read besides the Bible and early Christian writings. Her heart is amazing. What a selfless and compassionate person.

Very good.
This is an excellent book that talks about many different aspects of a spiritual life. Mother Teresa writes in a very simple and understandable way to walk you through her very simple path to God. She emphasizes actions as a way of showing love and getting closer to God, but not actions within themselves. It's a connection with God which made her able to live in such conditions and work with those whom everyone else rejecting and whom she knew would probably die. And when she obeyed God and did what he asked, she became closer to him. This book does not tell you to drop everything and work with the poorest of the poor, that was her calling and not necessarily yours, but to drop everything and to give it all to God. She sees Jesus in every person so she can't help but put them before herself. The last chapter is a short interview with her and was quite insightful as well.
