Do not recommend-1/10
It will not stay set for the voice for longer than 6 hours . The whole point of the watch is so i can know the time being a person who is blind . The watch band broke after one day of wearing it .

Talking watch
This was for my mom who was 88 yrs. Old this year . My mom loves accessories more than life it's self . When she started having trouble with her vision due to macular degeneration I noticed she no longer took interest in her wrist watch collection which was as vast as time it's self I also noticed an increase in her asking me what time it was !! Now even though I don't have a master's degree I new this was an issue but didn't know what to do .I came across this watch simply by mistake I didn't know these types of magic things existed "talking watches" so I ordered it and said nothing when it arrived I showed it to my mother who simply said it's lovely butits difficult to see. I had already had set the time so it was ready to go I explainedto her what it did and what button to push . And she was over joyed to be able to tell time independently again . It's a great watch it's bright silver stainless steel with a white face with black letters I set the time it even has an alarm feature on it she just has to push the correct button and place the watch closer to her ear and bingo it announces the time clearly enough for her to hear without here hearing aids on . It truly is a beautiful wrist watch moms only concern was it was much to large on her but even that was only a minor set back we have a small at home wrist watch tool kit for resizing bands and changing batteries. So we made the band smaller for thin wrists so mom is punctual once again. It's also a quartz watch meaning a battery so there's no difficulty winding it the buttons are easy to find and use the band clasp locks firmly all of this is easy to do even with older hands . Growing old can and is some times more difficult than people understand and something as simple as knowing the time of day can restore a seniors dignity I would get one in every color . I /mom would recommend this to anyone who has trouble seeing their watch and would like to be punctual again this watch is for you it has two colors/styles too. I'm glad to know that there are still things that you can find like this talking watch that make things easier as we get older .

Works
This watch was a difficult one to rate, so in the end I rated it three stars-the middle. The strength of this Awaiymi watch is doing exactly as advertised and tells the time audibly, in a loud, clear voice at the press of a button. For a person with sight difficulties that could be life improving. It also inexpensive and I took that into consideration for this review. The analog time is set the usual way with the crown. The digital time is set using the buttons on the side. It has an option of twelve or twenty four hour time. It also has an alarm and hourly chime. The directions are straightforward. The analog time and digital time are set individually, so both need to be set. The drawbacks to this watch are that the voice, while clear, is loud and the volume cannot be adjusted. This is not an issue at home, but can draw attention in public. The quality of the watch, or at least the band, is not very good. Mine has an adjustable metal band. The only word I can use is "flimsy". It does not clasp well. It tends to come loose when bumped and is difficult to close. Even when I took it out of the box, it didn't feel right. The watch is bulky because of the electronics, but very light. This watch works and can help people, but it is not well constructed.

Timekeeping Made Accessible: Awaiymi English Talking Watch
I recently gifted the Awaiymi English Talking Watch to a friend who is blind, and it has been a wonderful tool for them. As a System Administrator, I value technology that enhances accessibility and independence, and this watch perfectly embodies these qualities. The watch features a clear and loud voice with an American accent, which announces the time and alarm settings. The clarity of the voice is excellent, making it easy to understand, which is crucial for someone who relies on auditory cues. My friend has found this feature particularly helpful in their daily routine, providing them with a greater sense of autonomy. The design of the watch is simple and user-friendly. The buttons are easy to locate and use, which is important for someone with visual impairments. This simplicity does not detract from the watch's functionality but enhances its accessibility. One of the most appreciated aspects is the alarm function. It's straightforward to set and adjust, and the audible alarm is loud enough to be effective without being jarring. This feature has been beneficial for my friend, especially for reminders and appointments. The watch is also aesthetically pleasing with its sleek black design. While the visual aspect may not be as relevant for my friend, it's nice to have a product that is both functional and stylish. Durability is another strong point. The watch is well-constructed and holds up well to daily wear and tear, which is important for a device that's used so frequently. In summary, the Awaiymi English Talking Watch is an excellent choice for anyone seeking an accessible timekeeping device. Its clear voice, ease of use, practical design, and reliability make it a valuable tool for the blind and visually impaired community. It's a thoughtful and empowering gift for anyone who values independence in their daily life.

Terrible watch!!!
This watch could keep time, but could not tell the correct time! It had to be reset a couple of times a day. Now it is broken and it is only 5 months old. Do not buy this watch. My blind friend is dependant on a watch because she can't tell if she should sleep or get up. She was always waking up or staying awake so that she wouldn't miss her ride. We need a zero star.
