Amazing car charger! I never had one of these and I have been driving for 10+ years.. this has changed my life just to have my phone in sight for directions and out of my hands. It's very sturdy, you just have to screw it on right to your air vent, and it won't fall. The magnet on it is very good also, my phone does not move. As someone who doesn't have a new car, it's great to be able to use my car for music AND be able to charge it at the same time.... if you know you know the struggle with the new iPhone having the same aux/charger port. Would buy this 100x over, can't beat the price either.

This charger is great, works very quickly and is clean in the car. Very easy to use the ac vent clip, I haven’t used the included dash sticky mount but it seems high quality also. It mounts easily and securely and my phone charges quickly on it! The magnet strength is strong, to the point that you have to exert a little effort to remove the phone, it won’t just fall off with driving turbulence! It’s very stable and is a great charger for the price. I had a minor issue and their customer service responded quickly and resolved the issue very satisfactorily! I would absolutely recommend this charger.

7/15/24 updateThe manufacturer reached out and explained that they had updated the charger and would I try it again. They sent me a new charger and I have tested it over the past 2 weeks.It does now work quite well. Whatever the problem was appears resolved. In my car I use a lighter adapter with a Usb-c and a USB-a input. With an adapter in the USB -a it works flawlessly. There must be a subtle issue with the usb-c port in the lighter charger, it works with an Apple MagSafe charger but not this one. However, the USB-c ports built in to my wife’s car work just great with this charger, so I suspect that the spec on the lighter socket is the problem.Regardless, I really like this, super strong magnet, no dropping the phone over bumps, very fast charging. Looks great. I would definitely buy it again and definitely recommend it now. I also appreciate that the seller took it seriously and resolved the issue.The first one would not maintain charging connection. It would connect and disconnect so frequently it couldn’t actually charge the phone. I returned it for an identical replacement. The second one was the same. Simply unusable. On could be a bad sample. 2 means the product does not work with iPhone 12 even though it states that it does. Would not recommend for iPhone owners. 2 stars because the magnet is really strong.

Okay, I say impulse buyers because I can be one and admit that a purchased this product a little blindly without thinking or doing my research. I do like the product, I would buy again and also recommend to others.However, here are some things that may be helpful to consider.1. It comes rather nicely packaged and even offers an option for mounting on your dash with an adhesive backed holder. They even supply a cleaning wipe and a drying wipe to prepare the surface. I don’t like using adhesives in my car (just a preference) so I did not try it.2. To put the charger together you unscrew the top cap where the little roller ball is inserted, and then snap together and tighten the cap back. I know that was not super insightful but, hopefully you’ll get it if purchased.3. I have a GMC SUV. I thought this would be helpful when traveling to see alerts that pop up. However, I found this product to be a waste in that vehicle based on my wants. My vents are angled towards the driver and my gear shift is on the steering wheel. So there is no good place for me to hook this and be able to see, as well as not interfere with the gear shift. Also, I use my phone for directions by plugging it into my cars outlet and then it is displayed on the screen of my car. When using this it is just a charger as you would still need to plug the phone into the car to utilize the on-screen directions. This seems like a waste in my opinion as you are hooking into the car battery twice. . You may be able to use Bluetooth if that works for you and not have to plug the phone directly into the car.4. I am using this product in an older model car and it works great. The vent mount has a stabilizing feature that helps to keep it from flopping around. I have had a little wobble interfere with the charging for a second here and there but nothing annoying.5. The magnet is strong and holds my pro max just fine. I have not had any issues with charging speed - not a speed charger but, pretty standard results.

By and large, the fit and finish of the mount is far better than a lot of other solutions for mounting a phone in a car. It's squeak and rattle-free, magsafe does a great job of holding the phone in place, and it charges without any fuss.However, on mine, the adhesive pad has failed after just under 5 months of use.The reason I bought this mount in particular was I'd found a spot where it would have the phone hang away from the centre air vents and not block them, but just high enough that the phone would catch a little airflow to keep it cool while charging. The resulting position placed the phone more or less dead level with the stock head unit, which seemed like a great place for a carplay-on-a-budget arrangement.However, a couple of weeks ago, the adhesive pad started to peel away from the mount, and it finally failed completely this afternoon. The *really* annoying part is that it came unstuck on the side that ESR handled - the pad is still stuck to the dash, and the mount has come away leaving the pad in place.I don't know if this is a temperature-related thing. Round these parts (Honolulu) car interiors obviously get warm. However, I would have thought that an accessory intended for mounting inside a car would take that into account.I'll be chasing this up with ESR, as it's definitely not on.
