When I was a kid we had a telescope. We were able to see some planets for a short time before they drifted out of view. And trying to take a picture? Not a chance. The Odyssey is so easy to use it's embarrassing. Take it outside under a night sky and hit the on button. The telescope does the rest. Look through the menu, pick a target and there it is. Want a picture? Just hit the button. The Odyssey is small, light and can easily be transported. There are 2 choices, the Odyssey and the Odyssey Pro. The Pro model has a better camera and an eyepiece. I have the Pro and have never really used the eyepiece. If you are at a star party with many people the eyepiece is really cool. The regular Odyssey is substantially cheaper. You can't go wrong with either one.

Took this out last night for my first observations and was blown away at how easy this was to quickly produce amazing views. The scope assembly is reasonably light and packs up nicely into the optional backpack. My phone connected easily to the telescopes WiFi network, and then it was as simple as choosing what object in the sky I wanted to look at. The telescope slewed to the target accurately, and within minutes had amazing views to look at through the eyepiece. This is a very expensive telescope, and you can get more functionality for less cost by looking at manual options, however, the easy of use and portability, combined with the computer chip output into the eyepiece I think this will be my favorite scope for showing my friends and family things in the sky. I am already making plans to visit friends to show this off.

I didn't buy one but I did look it over thoroughly, my opinion is that it is why over priced. It appears to be fairly well made and the optics are very good but come on, $3,999 for a

For the amount of money you spend for this scope, better warranty service should be standard. Not emailing back and forth for weeks on end with the same dumb questions over and over.

The telescope is quite amazing, and easy to use once you figure it all out. The instructions and online web help are pretty good, but not complete. A scheduled televideo chat with a Unistellar expert was very helpful in filling in the gaps, however.

It is very easy to use. It provides very good views and pictures. Happy I finally upgraded my equipment and wish I would have done so earlier.
