I looked at a-lot of cameras before i purchased this one. I chose it because of the price. It’s easy to install, works well about 50-75 feet from my house, the app is easy to use and the alert is dependable. Picture quality is good. It has a battery saving and a power mode. I run it in power mode in moderate sunlight and the battery has not failed in 6 months.

I have never purchased a video camera before, so I did not know much about them. Having had reports of people trying to break into cars in our neighborhood, I decided to purchase 4 video cameras for all 4 sides of my house.I was pleasantly surprised to find that these video cameras on Amazon, were not only perfect for my needs, but they were advertised for one fifth of the original price! What an amazing bargain!I love the idea that I can control the cameras from my phone and can clearly see everything the camera is picking up. The motion detection is on point and actually spotlights any person and every car that passes by. I also like the idea that these cameras are solar and were somewhat simple to install, and they charge rather quickly!I am very happy with my video cameras and would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a quality solar video security system for a highly discounted price.

I think this is a great camera. It’s easy to set up for multiple uses. I bought mine for my chicken coop and the alarm scares the predators away. My best friend bought one for her farm after hearing how good it works and also loves it. It had everything you could want - night vision, sound, alarm zones, alarms, etc. you can charge it via cord or solar panel. I can’t speak to the solar yet since u haven’t figured out where I’m going to mount it. I bought a second one I liked the first one so much.

Bought this as a second camera for the outside of my home. I like that this works on solar, so even in a power outage I have a camera watching my home. Image quality is better than expected. Install is a breeze. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a quick, hassle free security solution.

I purchased this after a series of break-ins in my neighborhood and have been thoroughly pleased with it. The settings are customizable and whenever the sensor is triggered, the motion light comes on which seems to be a big deterrent.The only complaint is when you take it down to recharge it after the solar reserve runs out, the camera is extremely difficult to get in and out of the wall mount. Where I have mine placed is a shady area under the roofline so it doesn't always get a lot of solar power to charge and occasionally after about two weeks, I have to take it down and charge it, which isn't the problem. It's the difficulty getting it in and out of the wall mount bracket. It sounds like the plastic is snapping when it does finally come loose. The PUSH button doesn't move and the angle has to be just right to snap it back in.Besides that issue, it's a great camera. I feel more secure with it and the installation and setup was a breeze.

As a Vivint customer, I found adding components to their system quite expensive, so I'm exploring more economical options like the SeeVision ZY-C8. Even with professional installation (which I opted for at $50), it's a great value.The photo and video quality are excellent. There are also some convenient features like cloud storage and AI detection, though they aren't required for basic operation.You'll need your own SD card, and setting up the app requires a bit of technical savvy, especially when configuring the video feed encryption options. However, it shouldn't take too long. I love that the camera can rotate and be controlled remotely; I can see my entire backyard! The built-in light is a nice touch, and I can turn it on remotely through the app to deter anyone lurking near my back door.I bought this to monitor my back yard and steps, and the motion detection has been reliable so far. I'm very happy with this purchase and plan to add more of these cameras around my home. Highly recommended!"

The cameras worked great initially. They recorded everything that moved or walked by. I left them on performance mode since my run would receive a lot of sunshine to keep them charging. After a while - they stopped recording every movement and basically just records like 5 things in an entire day compared to the 40 videos it would record daily. The cameras are just not working as they should anymore. The picture quality is great though!

Easy to setup and easy to remove or steal as a simple clip holds it in place. Ensure kept at a decent height. Love the solar charging solution. The cloud service subscription to some unknown service is needed if you want to remotely connect. If not an SD card is good enough to review activity

A good kit with handy features like solar charging, decent image quality.In terms of storage the only options are sd card and paid subscription. The listing mentions a free 7 day rolling recording which is not the case. Sd card is good enough.
