Q: First time doing a repair, results were great other than a small pit. Is this expected? Are there any tips for getting that to disappear?

Thank you. We get this question often. The reason the pit area is more evident is because when a rock hits a windshield a small piece of glass is removed from the surface. While buffing the area may help a small amount it will still be visible because you are replacing that missing glass with UV curable resin. The video shows you the pit area after a finished star break repair. We have been repairing windshields for 30 years and always let our customers know before-hand that while a finished rock chip repair will look much better than before, it will never completely disappear. Most customers simply do not want the chip to crack out. We guarantee that it never will, and when the repair is complete, they are impressed with how much better it looks! Hope that helps.

Bridges are much the same. Same o rings and end seals. Resin works the same. You can interchange pretty much everything
