The Easy 3-Chord Fake Book: Melody, Lyrics & Simplified Chords in the Key of C

It's all songs in C, which I guess you expect in a Fake Book, but these were all REALLY OLD! Like, Wooly Bully and Chuck Berry and Little Richard.

It’s a very comprehensive simple fewer chords song book in fake style. Even though it’s 3 chords what they meant was Major, Minor and 7th in C scale. The songs can have 4 different chords don’t get confused. Bottom line is one must play correctly both hands, that is one’s challenge.

This is a nice book for learning to play, I know most of the songs but my grandd daughter (age 22) whom I was.l, teaching was not familiar with the songs.

I normally like these fake books but I could not find enough songs I liked to play in this book.

I'm not a beginner, but a lazy pro. This book is fantastic for me. It has a lot of great songs in it, I've been playing for about 30 years, however, I don't read music only very slow. I perform at assistant living homes on keyboard. So anytime I can take an easy song make it sound fantastic, the folks love it and I can still make a buck, it's all win win.

The one hundred songs' arrangements are easy for beginners to learn to play. I do think some of the arrangements to put songs not written in the key of C into the key of C doesn't really work all the time. Some songs just do not sound right that way.

might all be 3 chord songs, but not always all the easy chords, but overall, very well put together
