Bicycle PRESTIGE Dura-Flex Plastic Playing Cards

Q: Can you use these near or in a pool?

My daughter does and they survive the pool well. I dont have a pool but do play with many grandchildren who are ocasionally sticky. They were very slippery at first and were tough for the kids to handle but they got better with use. I plan to always have these cards. I am a grandma who teaches and plays cards. Winners get one small tootsie roll as prize!

Q: I see that bicycle also sells "bicycle prestige playing cards (pack of 2)". they are plastic but it does not say "dura-flex". what's the difference?

Although I do not know the difference I must tell you that the Amazon vendor in Las Vegas sells the old Prestige Plastic cards that were made in China and they are no good. After limited use they start to chip and split. The vendor will not stand behind the cards and are less than cooperative to deal with. I finally contact Bicycle (The United States Playing Card Company, ATTN: Consumer Affairs at 877-645-0553) and a very nice person by name of Jackie solved the problem by sending me 2 replacement packs that are now made in the USA or Canada. So far they are holding up nicely. Jerry Fuller, Tucson, AZ.

Q: What kind of a box do these come in?

These cards are really great. But hard to pick up on the floors. They come in like a cardboardish box. It's strong enough to hold.

I would ask Gamblers General Store. I can only speak for Stayathomedads, which we sell original.
