Love my pillow
A good night's sleep is priceless, or in my case £50! Although this product is made with people with ear issues in mind, I would recommend it for any side sleeper, so comfortable and cooling too. My partner is very jealous and is going to buy his own too, because he falls to sleep with headphones in and said it's great for that too!It came with instructions for changing the firmness, but I found it perfect as is.

Worth it!
I don’t write reviews for a lot of things but when something is really useful or excellent quality I will. You wouldn’t think a pillow with a hole would be fabulous but it is!!I’ve had ear surgery (otoplasty) twice after it failed the first time. It’s very painful and you have to lie on your back to sleep to not put pressure on the ear which I found so uncomfortable. For the second surgery I invested in this pillow and it’s helped so much I can’t tell you. I could sleep on my side using this from day three after surgery which made my recovery much easier. No pain at all from undue pressure on the ears. The hole is in just the right place to support the head and neck and the pillow is padded enough to ensure there is space for the ear whilst your head is on the pillow. It’s incredibly comfortable. Even six months after the first surgery I would wake up with pain and discomfort from lying on my side and putting pressure on the ear but this is now a thing of the past with this pillow. Yes it’s expensive but it’s niche so it’s going to be. Absolutely worth the investment if you suffer ear pain or have had ear surgery- would 100% recommended. Only small thing I would add is the pillow-cover doesn’t completely cover the area with the hole so if there’s some bleeding it can go on to the pillow itself rather than the pillowcase but it’s a small issue and would be difficult to design a pillow case that would solve this issue. All in all I love it!!

The amazing PWAH
I have suffered months with a very sore ear as I'm only able to sleep on my right side. I had tried a pillow which had a trench but it folded in on itself. However after only a few days with my PWAH, my right ear has healed completely and I've had the best night's sleep for months. I can highly recommend it!!Joyce

If you want to take the weight of your ear during sleep this is the think for you
They are not cheap for a two thirds size pillow.I am would have liked a standard sized one ,which would maybe make them prohibitively expense. They are however very well made from good quality material. The ability to adjust the firmness is a big plus. and the hole in the middle has cured my ear problem.Overall a good buy.

OK but....not good for me though.
I have chronic CNH and I hoped this would be the answer to my prayers BUT while the pillow case is beautiful and soft the hole area is just sewn and left to go taught when you lay on it. So could be irritating. Thr pillow is indeed very well made and also very overstuffed. So in order to get it to be on you will almost certainly have to remove all filling and refill it yourself. So bare that in mind if you're of limited mobility. The hole isn't dead centre of the pillow ita central horizontally but isn't in the cross centre so its further from the edge of the pillow on one side and closer on the other. This wasn't however still close enough for me. I wish it was but sadly not. It bended my ear at the bottom and also triggered a migraine and tmj due to pressure on the different parts of my face and jaw. Granted had I been able to stuff and unstuff I may have been able to soften it. But it wouldn't have changed the point that thr distance from my shoulder to my ear was just not long enough to accommodate the pillow. I am gutted as I thought this was my holy grain but aggarently not. I would also say for some people it may be an issue that its essentially 3/4 size of a normal pillow. In that it's not comfortable in other ways. Even if your ear temporarily feels better. Other issues may not. Although I can see why it would work for others.Sorry PWAH.

It works.
I brought this for my mum who complains of sore ears when sleeping. The zipper is ingenious, you could put whatever you wanted inside; duck down, beans or memory foam. My mum says it a little hard and she removed some stuffing but says it's still a little hard. Not sure if it's the stuffing being compressed turns a little uncomfortable and hard or if she needs to alter the volume or whatever and fluff it up a bit but it would be good if you could choose your own stuffing. My mum hasn't had anymore sore ears with this pillow so that's a win. She just needs to adjust the stuffing for softness. It's a bit expensive for a pillow that's not as big as normal pillows. But I think the smaller size accommodates a normal pillowcase because the extra fabric could be used to put a hollow depression in the hole (if you wanted to use a silk pillowcase for example which they don't make for this pillow, as far as I know anyway). So, overall a great idea for a pillow that works but stuffing needs adjusting to your requirements. Also the customer service is wonderful, they're lovely people.Thank you :)

Really well made and bonus, no spillage!
This is a very well made pillow and I'm glad I bought it, after having tried and wasted my money on a different one. Works for me and it's also handy to hold a drink in bed without it tipping over!
