Long lasting

This battery was for a Roberts radio made in the U.K. Before ordering the battery I had connected regular 9v batteries together in parallel. The PP9 battery is the right way to do it.

This is a UK battery that was shipped to me by Amazon seller Annovaus. This battery is probably not available in the US. It's definitely a weird, large, rectangular battery - quite heavy, too. It arrived quickly to the US from UK and was shrink-wrapped. It looked brand new. When inserted in my vintage radio (made in England in 1962), it worked perfectly. I hope it lasts a long time. If you have the same vintage radio as me, this Eveready 9V PP9 battery is the correct one to get.

Good long life battery that I use in vintage radios. They have preformed well for me in radios that I use everyday and others that sit for months and use occasionally. The battery seem to be well constructed and fit perfectly in my applications. Only wish they would be shipped in a box and not a bubble envelope. Had one battery arrive with a cracked case. I use it for test purpose on my work bench and to date it has not leaked and it has been over 5 months since it arrived.

It was the needed replacement for an English radio. It is likely to last many years because of its capacity. It would also work as a nice 9 volt bench supply for solid-state projects, because there is no noise coming from a battery as opposed to a wall-wart. ##

Can't buy these in the USA so was thrilled to be able to get them at a reasonable price from the UK. They work great with my mini Vox Escort amp.

The product is great. Like the fact that I can get it from amazon even if it's not available in my country South Africa.
