This product is perfect for what i need, it is just the right height for me to pick up anything i drop without needing to bend. The grip is comfortable and the trigger easy. The only issue I have is with packaging, the grabber came in a massive box and i had to search through the paper in the box to find it. For something like this it was serious overkill on the box size and i would recommend Amazon look into improving this in the future. Other than the packaging, the grabber is 5 star.

This is the second of these I’ve bought so that I can one in another room.I have problems with mobility and find it hard to bend to pick things up from the floor, so this grabber is perfect for me.It picks things up with precision due to the tips meeting exactly, it has a lovely long reach and is easy to use.Highly recommended.

As a power chair user a grabber is an essential accessory. This is easily the best and most robust I've used. The smallest length one is a manageable size to carry around but still provides enough reach to necessitate its usage at least three or four times daily.True I have a pretty strong grip which you need to grab anything heavier than a piece of toast landed jam side down but the pistol grip extends through the top which provides additional leverage if you need it.

it works fine, but with "heavy" use the rubber grips came off so would suggest these are bonded on much more securely.

I bought this following a hospital operation to make life easier while recouperating. I've got an older model which has a rod instead of a wire which this one has to operate the jaws. It's not as good as the older one due to the fact that the wire seems to have some give in it, causing the jaws to jump out of sync. I have had to remove the jaws to reset them 4 times so far ! A little bit of cost cutting has not improved this tool !

UPDATE: I've had two of these fail now. The plastic "teeth" that are used on the ratchet mechanism simply use too soft a plastic, which gradually wears down and starts to slip, meaning the grabber arms fail to close. Both have failed within 3-6 months of purchase. I can't recommend these until the design is fixed and a better quality of plastic used.Nice long reach but still manages to be quite nice and lightweight so easy to use. Reasonably well constructed and uses steel cable rather than nylon cord for the drawstring, so should be quite robust/long lasting. Cable runs internally too unlike some other brands so again should last a long while and not prone to snagging. Rivets used for hinges are a little cheap so there is some "play" in the jaws meaning its not ideal for grabbing heavier objects and not as robust as it could be. The jaws are lined with rubber for better grip on items which is great. One design problem is that the magnets on the gripper ends are not attached very well, they are just "interference fit" in the rubber and very loosely fitted - one had already come off and gone missing when the item was delivered and the other was half slid out and doubtless will be lost soon too - needs fixing as a design issue. Other than that, very impressed with this for the money - its simple and easy to use, a good length and good value - just wish it was engineered to a slightly higher standard and it would be perfect.

I bought 3 different reachers for after my hip replacement and this was the best because both sides of the jaws are lined with rubber and everything is contained inside the stem. It is the strongest of the reachers I bought and also the most accurate at picking up tricky objects. If you only buy one buy this. Ignore the gimmicks on others like magnets and shoe horns because they don't work very well. This keeps it simple and gets the job done.

Very sturdy and strong. Made of quality materials compared to others that I've used. Claws are also adjustable, and spin full 180 degrees from handle position, as well as opening width. Small magnets on the claws tend to get lost or slide out, but that is the only minus. I have 3 of them, all 90cm long, so I find they suit my needs.

The actuating rod inside the hollow support tube is far better than those tools that rely on some type of cordage to activate the gripping jaws The jaws are equiped with a semi-soft plastic that grips objects that are small and hard to grip. There is a magnet on one of the jaws that is useful for picking up ferrous items such as paper clips, small metal tools, etc. The jaw assembly can be rotated to provide flexibility when trying to grab objects at awkward angles. Also, there is a removeable wrist/arm support for those that have strength/mobility limitations. They are available in two lengths. I have several of these for use in the house and one in my car, they have given me and my wife many years of reliable service. They are also easy to maintain. They're worth every penny.

L'ho comprata a mio fratello che ha la passione di raccogliere i rifiuti per pulire le nostre strade. Si è trovato molto bene e siamo rimasti stupiti dalla precisione con cui raccoglie anche i mozziconi di sigarette. E' la più economica presente su Amazon, ma non per questo da scartare.

If you need a “granber”, this is the only one to buy. The claw is connected to the handle by a metal ron, not like ones with a string like cable that stretches. There is NO stretch in the metal rod. I can pick up a pair of my size 14 shoes. Also has a small magnet on 1 of the jaws so you can pick up small items like pins, staple snd paper clips.

Initialement très satisfait, me voilà bien désappointé : la pince ne ferme plus, elle est bloquée dans une position qui lui fait un bras de préhension plus long que l'autre. L'outil est à présent inutilisable. Appareil très fonctionnel permettant d'attraper toute sorte d'objet sans avoir à se baisser. Pour les personnes, comme moi, souffrant de gros problèmes de dos, c'est magique et ça change une vie ! De l'autonomie enfin retrouvée ! La pince est légère, et se déclenche très rapidement et sans forcer dès que la gâchette est manipulée ; la tête est pivotante pour appréhender au mieux l'objet à ramassé. Robuste, elle agrippe les objets de façon solide. Tout cela pour un prix très mini !
