Good product. Easy setup. Works as advertised. Materials for the WiFi smart socket are ok, could be better. Functionality wise it operates fine with amazon alexa.

These are very handy! I have cameras and other equipment in my garage that I need to occasionally reset. My detached garage is well over 100 feet away from my router, and these plugs work great! I can kill power and restore it to any of my cameras or devices with these...even if I am not home. I use the recommended app on my tablet, tap the device I want to shut off, then tap the on/off button wait a few seconds and tap the on/off again, then watch my device come back online. I purchased the square version of these last week, and now have purchased these. These fit in a socket without blocking the other socket. You can also schedule devices to be powered off or on at specific times. I am sure many people would use this for turning on and off lights in their home. Pull into the driveway and turn on the lights in the house. I am sure there are a bunch of other uses for these. I am impressed at how far away from the router these still work.

This device does exactly what I want and the setup was a breeze. I’ll have to see how reliability is after it’s in service for awhile - I installed them today. Manual on/off works reliably. The countdown timer does too but that’s not my use case. The time specific on/off timer works as well. And the ability to tie together events in a “scene” is very slick and I’m using it already. For example: If you turn one device on, it can automatically turn othera on. Or hit the “perform scene” and turn multiple devices on. (Works the same way for OFF if you setup another scene for that purpose.) I like that I can set my stereo to turn off at 1AM every day (whether it’s on or not) without having to have a corresponding ON time. So if I turn it on manually but forget to turn it off, this device is a little safety net saving me 200 watts for however many hours it takes me to realize I left it on.The one mildly disappointing thing is that the scenes appear to be stored in the app on the iPhone (in my case). So you can’t share them with family members. Makes sense on one level. But it would be handy to share them.

Love it super ez to set up. Scan the code on the instruction guide . Dl the app from apple store. Plug outlet in and search for the plug. Enter wifi password. Done. connected.Update june/01/2018 One of the two plugs just died. Using hard button on the side wont even work. No indicator light on. Grrrrr

Just ordered two more Sieges smart plugs. FYI ... on my iPhone 5c (I know, but hey, it ain't broke), the Smart Life app was easy to connect to both plugs, but the app kept losing the devices, saying they were "OFFLINE." I was about to request refund, but then decided to try the JIMVOO Smart Control, and everything works like a charm. So if you're having trouble with the SMART LIFE app, give the JIMVOO app a try. A word of warning ... the JINVOO app reviews are almost completely negative, but it worked for me. There was a 2018 update to the JINVOO app, that maybe solved earlier problems. Once I get the second 2-pack up and running and working with the JINVOO app, I plan to never update the app. Reading the Smart Life app reviews, it appears the most recent update has caused the TIMER function to quit working. This stuff is still in its infancy, but hey I love a challenge.

I'm a tech guy and love having smart devices in my house. However, there are so many options out there that it's hard to choose. I decided to buy these plugs after doing some searching and have loved them. They hooked right up to my phone and my Google Home (no $60 hub required) so I can control them wirelessly from either device. At the great price point, I'll be able to get several of these to put around my house.

These work just as I had hoped. Easy setup & can control with phone app or Alexa. Really easy to change settings to make it look like someone's in the house. Lights on for a time in the morning & again at night. Easy to vary the times slightly every few days so the house looks occupied.

I'm loving the fact that I'm slowly making my house a smart house for a reasonable price! This is the second time I have bought smart plugs. It is very convenient that I can use the same app although it was different brands. Very easy to set up! A great purchase.
