However, I found no sharp (likely to cut fingers) handles, both bins and lids arrived undented and they seem quite sturdy. The lids have hooks that go over the handles to stop them lifting off easily. Just hoping nothing will rust as I have to store them outdoors and I've previously had so called 'galvanised' things go rusty. I'm storing wild bird feed in them and hope they'll survive better than the two plastic bins I've just discarded. Although they'd lasted 6 months undamaged, during 4 days when I was away from home they were annihilated by marauding squirrels. Review: Used outdoors = Very durable, water tight, safe from animals raiding bins. - I use this outdoors storing bagged animal feed. It has been durable and watertight during all weathers. It’s been weighed down by allot of food but has never blown over. It has really useful handle clips on the lid to stop the lid from coming off and has been very secure from rats and other animals.
