For hip bursitis, degenerative disc disease etc. As well as compression wear, belts, socks etc. I'm afraid to say as yet I've found no miracle cure for pain, but this is a good all rounder, even to cooling burning feet caused by nerve damage, put on calves for restless legs etc. Oh yeah tried it all pretty much.
