No scent! - I have fine, thin, wavy hair (type 2a I guess) which gets limp and overwhelmed by most products. I also don't like any kind of fragrance. This product doesn't weigh my hair down at all, holds waves nicely, and doesn't smell like anything. It's got a very soft hold--don't expect anything to stay in place--so if you want a light, natural hold, this works well. Personally I put a small amount on my palms (maybe a quarter-size) and wipe it lightly over towel-dried/damp (not wet) hair, from mid-shaft on down. I then scrunch it in, let it air-dry (blow-drying makes my hair go straight), and run my fingers through it once it's dry to break up minor crunch. It brings out waves, works all day, and looks good the next too. A little goes a long way, so it's a reasonable price. It's neither conditioning nor drying. I find the selection of products from Jessicurl ans the differences between them to be a little confusing, so I ordered samples of several different ones.
