Most of the bad reviews for these boots are from people too impatient to give them a chance. If your dog needs a good, strong, long lasting boot that has thick padding, these boots are as good as they come. The issue is when they are new they can be quite stiff, the velcro very thick and strong and together this makes the boots a very awkward and potentially uncomfortable first fit. I have to admit, after years of use I still dread the process of getting a new pair and having to wait for my dog to break them in. But it's worth the faff and wait if you do. When they're new you can't fit them too tightly, therefore they will fly off the dogs feet sometimes. The sole also needs to soften from use and shape to the dogs foot. Over a week or two the boot will mould to the shape of your dog's foot and you will be able to tighten the straps further gradually and eventually you'll find they will rarely come off.We've been through all the boots available, these are among the best and the only ones that work for us. If you're struggling, do persevere and give them a chance. Our dog would really struggle without the protection these boots give, very grateful for them.

Greyhound says no. Just comes off too easily - need to tighten to the max to keep on at all.

This is a great boot for dogs that have corns or sore feet. But, it can come up big for dogs that have slender feet. My whippet measures paw length of 3inch and a paw width of 1.5 inches, so I ordered the TD, it was ok on the length, but way too big on the width, so I sent it back ( you do get charged for postage ) and ordered the TB which is perfect for her.

The listing is misleading - it shows a photo of 2 boots and has photos of dogs wearing boots in pairs; leading me to believe that I was buying a pair of boots instead of just one. The boot is sturdy and well made but extremely over priced. I am very disappointed at the misleading marketing.

works a dream. As seen in on one review put on a small ankle sock first. Keep dog on lead whilst foot boot on. My greyhound had it on whilst off the lead ran like the wind and the boot flew off but stays on whilst on the lead. Nice tight fit to help with a corn.

Keeps coming off.

This is my second Thera-Paw boot and I cannot recommend them enough.Both have been for greyhounds with corns and after the initial ten minutes of silly walking while they got used to it and a few times where it has fallen off while the human learns to put it on securely its made a walk so much comfier for the dog.The boots are long lasting and hard wearing and I have put them into the washing machine on numerous occasions with no problems. I recently ordered size TE in error which was too big for a greyhound bitch and my order was credited with no issues and a replacement sent out promptly.
