Excellent refrigerator
These are excellent refrigerators. This is my second one. The first one I ran non stop for over a year and torture tested it. still works perfectly!!I just upgraded to more space and dual zone. The build quality on this unit is superb. The exterior plastic feels very similar to what you’d find in a late model vehicle interior. The screen is very clear and nicely layed out. The compressor and brushless cooling fans are nearly silent appear to be high quality. The unit itselfAppears to be well insulated. if they’re anything like my other fridge I expect them to last a long time. The 34qt is a great size for portability. I use it as an auxiliary fridge in my truck camper. It fits under a typical dinette table. Doubles as road trip fridge in the trunk of my truck. It’ll easily run off a standard 12v port in any car ( while it’s running) or a 250wh+ power bank for several hours alone. You can build a very basic solar setup and run this infinitely.I compared several models including the top brands and I think the bodega is the best value and performance.

Perfect !
After doing a lot of studying and reading reviews of other products, I chose this one. We have used it on a 2300 mile trip, and it was exactly what we were looking for. Controls are easy to use, you’re very useful light inside that turns on when the lid is opened (This was a surprise to me and a very useful option.) upon plugging it, and the temperature started dropping right away, roughly 1° every minute. I would definitely recommend.

Great Dual Zone 12V/120V Cooler
Haven't written a review in years but have been driving non-stop for work and my regular cooler with the foil frozen gel packs were becoming a real pain to deal with. Temperature of the food/drink stuff depended on how much contact there was with the gel pack so food and beverage temps varied widely and were hard to control. Also, staying in a hotel overnight meant no real options to keep things cool for the next day since gel packs are far too big for the typical hotel room mini fridge/freezer.When I figured out how cheap these 12V cooler/freezers had become I decided to try one and am I glad I did. I carefully measured the space behind the front passenger seat and determined the 34L Bodega Cooler would fit perfectly. Big feature I was after was dual zone meaning 2 independently controlled spaces, each of which could be adjusted in the freezer range or fridge range. It was important to me for each zone to have its own independent lid which not all dual zone coolers have.I did wind up with the BougeRV 277W power station battery which can power the cooler for 6 hours to over a day depending on settings and ambient conditions Also handy to see the wattage consumed on the Bouge RV power station. Amazing how little power is consumed by the cooler (typically in the 35W to 55W range). Really nice to be able to start the cooler in the morning before I leave for 20 minutes or so without having to run the car or turn on the ignition.Haven't really had time to figure out how the dual zone design really works. At times I've noticed it seems to focus all of the cooling into what I've setup as the fridge section when starting the cooler then, when the fridge set point is met, it finally cools what I've setup as the freezer section. The fridge temp can dip below the set point when the freezer is working hard on startup. However, 20 minutes or so in, the temps seem to lock in on the set points established for each section and stay there as long as you keep it plugged in, leaving the controls alone.Insulation is decent but you will lose considerable temperature parked in the hot sun for more than say 30 minutes or so without being plugged into a backup battery. Considering how little power is consumed, a backup battery makes a lot of sense. All in all this cooler has to be one of the best purchases I made this year.

Pleased at first sight.
Just got the 42 quart yesterday. Lightweight when empty which is nice. Would have liked a second basket for the freezer compartment but ok. Lots of space on both sides. Plugged into wall outlet, it is very quiet, and it cooled quickly. Not sure how long this will hold cold without power but will see. This does not have a battery option and I hope I don't regret that choice. Lids lock easily and tight. Display includes voltage and power readout for source. 4 stars because the iphone app that is raved about is generic not brand specific and loses connection easily and does not connect from a short distance (across the room)-I had to walk back over to the unit to activate connection again which misses the point of an app. The power button on cooler does not work if bluetooth connection to app is active - it took me second to figure that out and I could not find an on/off option in the app so had to disconnect app to turn off. Still need to see how it functions off the battery charge from my solar but not expecting issues. When not traveling I will use this for contactless grocery delivery to my garage to keep items cold and frozen until I can bring them inside.
