my only complaint is that I did not have one years ago. it is a great addition to everything else you carry to keep you safe in the back country.great piece of mind know you can communicate and find your mates if you get separated due to visibility from weather or terrain.money well spent. I was a little hesitant in purchasing the camo but after receiving i think it looks just fine and was worth the savings over the black one.

A must for the backcountry
These are a must for the back country. Amazing range and very waterproof. Everyone I know rides with them with the exception of 2 that ride with the cenas and they seem to always get out of range from one another.

Good clear sound
Used it 3 days snowmobiling with temps in the teens, total of minimum 18hrs on battery charge, still over half charge. Good clear sound too

Perfect for sledding. I like how with the camo version it's almost impossible to tell I have a radio. I almost lost it just having it sit on my counter the other day.

Great so far. Easy to knock the channel. Just remember to check periodically . Great battery life in the cold

Feed back
Seemed to do what a radio should... but my buddy and I both purchased these and we would get feed back from the sled engine to the radio causing constant chatter on the mic. Im not sure if it some sort of frequency harmonizing... but basically we had to turn the volume to minimum or off while riding and turn it back up when you stopped or turned the sled off, a bit annoying for a radio that's meant for the back country.Anyone else have this problem?
