Nice teaching by Andy A
This is a nice tutorial, with the emphasis on leads within some of AKs greatest songs. One of the things I like best is how he keeps letting you know where you are in the progression and what chord the phrase is played over, if your really want to make the material your own your need the context. I think the teaching is thorough without being tedious, thank God for rewind buttons. You will need to be able to get around on your own a bit though. For those that want a method or technique oriented approach to Albert King's playing see Andy's DVD "How to play Blues in the style of Albert King". In this one he spends some time showing how to replicate, best you can, in standard tuning, the awsome sounds AK produced with his one of a kind technique. The two make a powerful instructional set. Another plus is that he teaches for standard tuning, so many tab books do not, and although AK could do it so well I am just not going to flip a lefty guitar over and tune it way down to learn like his very unique style. Maybe down 1/2 step ala SRV and Jimi so my finger tips don't fall off! It wold get a 5 except no tab, which is inexcusable. The other DVD does have tabs.

IF YOU PLAY GUITAR AND LOVE ALBERT KING, BUY THIS!!!
SIX STAR RATING ****** This is one of those products that deserves six stars for great value and incredible entertaining learning experience. The instructor on this video is Andy Aledort (one of my favorite instructors on the planet), he does an excellent job showing you the elements that define the signature sound of the one and only blues legend named Albert King. He shows you how Albert would have played each lick in his special tuning, then he shows you how to play Alberts licks in standard tuning. I got to see Albert in an East St Louis bar when I was about 9 years old, it was a life changing experience, this DVD helped me relive a lot of what I remember and how to integrate some of Albert Kings unique licks into my own performance. If you like guitar training DVD's buy this one!!Good music to all!!

No tabs
No tabs for teaching material and as long as they've been making teaching material seems like this would have been a no-brainer

凄く楽しい
これはいい!一時間二十分 楽しすぎます。譜面が無いのが残念ですが、逆に集中して見られます。アルバートキングのニュアンスをマスター出来る、素晴らしい出来です。

Alright, but that's about it.
There is no written music -- tab or otherwise -- not on paper and not downloadable. If Albert King is totally your thing, then this is alright: Andy Aledort is engaging and clear, and he shows you how to play the intros and solos. But compared to some other DVDs I've bought, this isn't quite as good. Still alright, and, like anything, you'll get out what you put in.
