Fantastic Little Radio with Great Features!
The media could not be loaded. I recently purchased this digital AM/FM shortwave radio, and I couldn't be happier with my decision! The compact design makes it easy to carry around, and it’s perfect for my sons room.Sound Quality: The audio clarity is impressive, especially for a radio of this size and price point. The reception is excellent on both AM and FM bands, and I was pleasantly surprised by the shortwave capabilities. I've been able to pick up stations from around the world, which adds a fun element to my son's listening experience. The Radio also can accept an SD card, however I did not test this function.**Battery Life:** The 4000mA rechargeable lithium battery is a game-changer. I’ve been using it for several hours, and it still has plenty of juice left. The ability to recharge is super convenient and environmentally friendly. You can also use regular D cell batteries, so you can have back up power if you run out.**User-Friendly:** The digital display is clear and easy to read, with a red back light. Tuning into stations is simple, and I appreciate the presets for my favorite channels.**Portability:** Its lightweight and compact size make it perfect for camping trips or just relaxing in the backyard. I plan to use his radio for camping trips coming up this summer.Overall, I highly recommend this radio to anyone looking for a reliable. cost friendly and versatile listening option. It offers fantastic value for the price and has quickly become one of my favorite gadgets!

Nice little radio
This is a very nice, compact radio that has a lot of great features. It runs on either 4 D-cell batteries or the rechargeable battery. It can receive a range of signal types including the usual AM and FM radio stations, weather bands and short wave. It can also be set to turn off after a certain amount of time with the sleep feature. Music that you may have on an SD card or USB drive can also be played using this radio. Nice for the money - light and compact and portable.

Clear radio soind, but mp3 pops!
Hi, I'm a millennial who uses this for background noise. I usually keep it on a local classical station. I also make wide use of the mp3 feature. I added a bunch of minimal industrial techno to get a good droning and non-descript beat in the background while I concentrate on something. It's nice to have a dedicated device for this so that I can leave my phone in the other room.I have no audio issues with the radio feature. But there is a significant issue with the mp3 feature. Little pops. They aren't super distracting, and given the nature of the music I listen to, its almost able to be ignored. But it is very disappointing that at any volume level the slight pops of the device trying to transcribe the digital file into analog audio is unavoidable. These are mp3 files which sound fine and are not corrupted on any other device... this one just doesn't seem to be capable of handling the job of playing mp3s clearly?Oh well, it was inexpensive and I can always switch back to the classical radio stations. The battery life ia very good. Maybe 8 hours on low volume to go from a full charge to 75%. I bet the battery would drain faster if you had it at max volume.

LOVE this radio. Did I mention I LOVE this radio?
I wanted a "transistor" type digital radio I could put on top of my microwave in the kitchen to play throughout the day. I've been through many smaller models already, and they all basically turned out to be cheaply made crap that died within a year. I didn't realize it when I bought it, but this radio is much bigger and I love it because it's more stable and has a bigger sound, somewhere in between the tinny-ness of small radios and a boom box. The reception is good and I pick up at least 25 stations. Volume control was a biggie for me because all my other radios were digitally controlled and way too loud at the lowest setting. This one uses a knob so you have complete control over how loud or soft you want it. Switching between memory stations is not what you would assume, so it's best to read the manual first. It's not difficult, just different. Would highly recommend this radio - a good value overall for the money.
