At $4.99/ea, they’re a great deal and seem like they’re going to last.It’s tough to tell the temperature and light intensity from the photos I’ve uploaded, but the example photos provided in the item description seem to be pretty accurate to what these actually do in person.In the first set of photos, I’ve tried my best to show the difference in light on the three different settings. First, the bright cool daylight. Second, the bright warm white. And third, the dimmed warm white. Regardless, the globe bulb and light provided looks good in that fixture, and I’m very pleased with it.The final two photos shown are of an antique Versen Saturn 18”dia pendant in my home office which was originally designed to be used with a mogul base industrial bulb. When I restored and rewired it, I changed the socket to a standard Edison E27 - no need for a 500+ Watt mercury vapor bulb to light a 10x10 office! LOL It looked odd with a standard size bulb trying to fill that center circular area, but this globe fits nicely, keeping good proportions with the rest of the fixture. The added convenience of being able to adjust the temp and intensity with flicks of the wall switch is exactly what I wanted. I am VERY sensitive to lighting. I tend to get headaches in places with fluorescent lighting. I also struggle with insomnia which has resulted in me being very cautious with my bedroom lighting. I have a four bulb ceiling fan in my room. Prior to buying these bulbs I was simply unscrewing each bulb to soften the light in my room. However these bulbs make it easy to soften the light and the three settings are perfect!The first setting is a very bright blue-white light. This is perfect for tasks like sewing where you need to see tiny details (I use this the least, blue light is not recommended before bed if you suffer from insomnia).The second setting is a warm yellowish light that is bright enough to illuminate your home without being harsh like the blue light. It is very similar in warmth and brightness to the GE RELAX bulbs I had previously.The third setting has the same warmth as the second but is dimmer (I use this before bed).I only use two bulbs in my ceiling fan and it is plenty to brighten my 12' x 10' bedroom.
