I bought a roll just to fix a small tear in my tent, then let it sit around in the bottom of my camping box. Then, last week, I brought it along on my son's summer scout camping trip. For a week, this roll of tape got passed around camp, fixing tents and sleeping pads. If you're going on a long trip and need your gear to hold up, bring this tape!

Excellent!The gear aid tenatious tape worked perfectly. I somehow managed to get a 1/2 inch right angle tear in the bottom of my Acothat 4 inch thick, self inflating mattress. The tape fixed it very easily and appears to be working perfectly. To be fair, I haven't used it since I fixed it. But, before I fixed it, I had to pile a bunch of heavy stuff on it just to keep it from self inflating while I drove home. Since fixing it, I used my pump to deflate it completely and it hasn't puffed up at all. There is a bit of a bump right where the corner type tear is. So, I put an extra patch on top of it for some extra strength. I've since read that a drop of glue before patching would help this. But I don't think it's more than a very slight cosmetic issue.Also, I found that when I tried to put the patch on, according to the directions, with the mat deflated, it was too crinkly to get a good seal. So, I did the opposite and put the pump on to blow it up. As soon as the surface was smooth and firm, I put the patch on and quickly turned the pump off. I got a perfect seal that way.I'll never camp again without this tape in my emergency kit.

Needed this to repair a tear in my down coat that was a little over an inch long. Worked great, but it’s definitely noticeable. That said, I definitely would use this product again. Great buy and I’m happy to repair and re-use than toss and replace.

Finally ripped a 30 year old down sleeping bag that has traveled the world with me. The tape is sticking but I can't speak to it's longevity once it goes through a wash. I did sew it prior to putting on the tape.I found a small remote that was perfect forcreating the rounded edges! Lol. I cleaned the fabric with alcohol and let it dry before applying the tape.I hope this holds together for many years.

My son tore his jacket in an L shape right at the pocket. I repaired it with this tape and it looks like it’ll hold up pretty well. The tape is nice and thin and really sticky.
