Greater: The Brandon Burlsworth Story Hardcover – August 23, 2016

I have never heard of Brandon Bullsworth. I was trolling the movie theater listings for something to watch and read the write up for the movie, 'Greater'. Always a believer that the book is better, I quickly downloaded it and was mesmerized.In an age of entitlement and where money is the measure of success, it was truly inspiring to read this testimony of someone who just would not give up.If you like football, I suppose you would like this book. However, the greater story is not the game, but rather how it was played.

Most inspirational film I've seen. And it's a true story. Every challenge for this boy growing up into a young man. But, he overcomes every challenge exceedingly. He lived his faith purely. And, was rewarded because of his faith in Jesus. He was the definition of perseverance. One of the films I've seen. Even better, you can take a lot of it with you in everyday life too.

Wonderful true story about a football player who was dedicated to making himself, his team and his world a better place. It was a great depiction of a Christian young man who changed lives and wasn't afraid to stand up for his principles and his Lord and Savior. Real story about a Real person who made a Real difference wherever he went..

I read this book with awesome reverence for this remarkable young man and the example he expressed to all who are willing to learn and emulate from his life. But Brandon Burlsworth didn't just show how to do it the Burls way. His was a shining example of how to do it God's way. A truly remarkable person!

A phenomenol movie about an incredible person who pursued his dream, but above all else loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It does an excellent job of facing the fact that bad things happen to good people, which does not contradict the goodness and wisdom of God.

I loved this book, because it showed that one can do anything but let that something in you come from God and give him the glory. There is no explanation for things only trust in him for completion. And let him heal our hearts and minds and souls.

This book was very moving. It makes you wonder why a young man that fought so hard to live his life devoted to God and accomplish what he had worked so hard for and before he could reap the rewards his life was taken away.WHY LORD WHY

Having just read the book I was keen to watch the film. Felt it focused too much on Marti. Tragic yet inspiting story well told and directed
