The Yeti wine cooler looks like an oversized Yeti Rambler cup without the top. Or a Yeti beer cozy without the collar. And it works really well like a double wall SS insulator should. Pretty much all of the simple wine coolers are a slip in, which is efficient. But you have to accomodate different size bottles, as is the nature of the wine industry, so there is no “snug fit”. With that said, the Yeti cooler can’t really “cool” your wine, since there is no physical contact with the sides of the bottle. Some of the wine coolers have freezer packs that actually snug up to the sides of the wine bottle that can, under ideal conditions, cool your wine, in addition to just keeping it cool. So, manage expectations, cool your bottle in the refer or freezer, put it in the Yeti, impress your friends with the Yeti brand investment, and drink cold wine!

Don’t know how it works but who cares. It works. And it’s cool. And the wine stays that way too.

Love YETI products but this one doesn’t fit the slightly larger Bollinger / Krug / Miraval bottles of wine. Shame because it only needs a couple of mm diameter. Works for all other 75cl bottles though.
