I bought this when I mistakenly thought my other straightener was broken (don't ask). I realized that my other one wasn't broken, but when I received this, I kept it anyway because the blades are so thin. I can get right up to my scalp for super straight hair. You can't use this as a hybrid curling iron because of that, but if you want a straightening iron, this is the one. Note: it is not an auto off. I think it's because it's for professional use. But if you're a forgetful person, know that you're running the risk of leaving it on accidentally.

I liked this product, and felt like it worked well. However, it just stopped working. I used it one day, like I had most days for the last eight months, but then I went to plug it in yesterday and it no longer worked. I plugged it in multiple outlets around the house because I couldn’t believe it just stopped working. In my opinion, the price isn’t worth an eight month product.

I needed a professional straightner asap, my old chi wasn't doing it anymore. This straightner does what it's supposed to do. It's really reliable, it will always make your hair look shiny and flat. The 1 inch makes it super easy to get close to hard areas. I would recommend this straightner to a friend!

I am disappointed that it does not have an auto shut off. That would have been a nice feature to have. When the straightener is turned over you cannot tell if it is on or off. I think at this price that would have been a nice safety feature to add. It is a longer straightener than others I have had so not as convenient for travel but it will work if needed.
