This replaces another that we have had for over 10 years. The hinge was starting to fail. It still works, but it was good to have the replacement! It is nice because it picks up a generous amount each time, and can get into the edges of whatever is containing the product getting picked up.

My wife saw a review of the Snapi on "Freakin' Reviews" and was immediately sold. This great little gadget is far superior to using salad tongs. In fact, you could pick up almost an entire large load of sald that was laid out in a salad bowl for guests. They fit easily in your hand without slipping our, work incredibly well, easily allow for picking up small to large amounts of food items such as pop corn, salad, etc. without spillage, lock closed when not in use to allow for more space saving storage and are easy to clean. For the effective range of usefulness I think the price ends up being pretty reasonable. I have to say that when I first saw them I thought they were just another useless gadget, but it turns out they really do all they are advertised as doing.

I received one of these ages ago as a gift, wore it out and bought myself another one because we use it constantly for salads. Recently a friend started saying she "had to get one of these" for herself every time they were over for dinner so I finally just bought her one. They are not expensive, work great for kids and adults (even for people who have arthritis) and are easy to clean.

Love this! If you do not have one, definitely should give it a try!

These clamshells are unusual enough still to be conversation pieces. But mostly, they are very useful in grabbing a lot of salad like food in one go. Speeds up the buffet line.

This was a gift to a friend and she loved it…She didn’t realize how much she needed it….

This salad scoop works perfect with one hand so your other hand can hold your plate. Easily cleaned .
