As soon as I opened the packaging I knew these would be better than the standard Wahl clippers and many of these other 3rd party Wahl system clipper guards. The magnetic grip feels nice, sturdy with a reliable click each time you put them on or take them off. You'll never have to worry about plastic degrading or a metal hinge piece bending out of shape and making the guard loose. The only thing I question is whether the nice painted details will stay on as I clean my guards fairly often with dish soap. I'll update my comment if it does come off, but the rating will stay a 5 star review regardless.

These guards are nice and suitable for mostly any clipper, cut nice and I’m a fan of the spacing of the teeth on them but only downside is I purchased the red ones to match all my equipment and in person they’re a bit more of a purple ish maroon color. No complaints on performance, just unfortunate they don’t look like what I hoped they would. Granted I should’ve also noticed that in the picture displayed of the guard on the black clipper, the red guard also appears to be a red whal guard not a gamma guard. Just a heads up for anyone looking to grab the red ones.

These are superior. I liked them so much, I came back and bought the black ones. To answer most of your thoughts and questions, these fit on almost all the clippers that your purple Andis magnetic guards won't work on. Very good quality and the magnets lock on tight and never come off unless you want them to be removed.

I love these!!! They fit my Wahl Sterlings. Having the magnetic on them makes it so easy to put on and take off. It's also a safeguard for keeping it on through the haircut. I do at least 20 cuts a day and I will never buy another brand.

Comparable to wahl premium guards in terms of material and cutting length but the magnets make attaching and detaching much quicker.

If you’re a fan of the double magnet purple guards, these guards perfect! Only con I got is that they don’t have the 7 & 8 guards. But that’s not a problem.
