Great Little Produce and Value for Money
This was a replacement heater for a sauna. I was originally skeptical buying it because of its value price. The product arrived quickly and was substantially the same quality of the higher end brand name that I was buying. Installation was easy and straight forward. The sauna heater heats up quickly and does a nice job of dissipating the heat. I am pleased that the controls are on the front and easy to access, as my sauna room is small. Many of the manufacturers are not thoughtful about where they place controls. The unit honestly looks and operates better than many higher end brands. I would not hesitate to purchase or recommend to others. The only slight drawback is that I do recommend that you run the sauna heater for several hours before actually using it and sitting in an enclosed space. The long story short is that you do need to cook off and season the unit and get some fumes to off-gas on first use. You would need to do this with any sauna heater, though.

Good value
Compared to other (Scandinavian) products, this was orders of magnitude cheaper and it works well. I sized the sauna to the specifications of the heater and it was able to warm up to around 200F. When heating it for the first time, it produced a lot more smoke than expected, triggering the smoke alarm. One downside was the timer which was similar to one on a toaster oven which ticked annoyingly and produced a loud “ding“ when it shut off. The timer controlled an internal relay which handled the high current to the heater. It was easy to wire an external timer and WiFi switch in parallel to the timer.

Would buy again
We installed this heater in our sauna last April & have been using it almost daily since then. It works great! Heats up the place well & a really great price for a sauna heater that works this well.

Caused inhalational lung injury
My first thought was it’s a couple hundred dollars, what’s the worst that can happen, it doesn’t work? After using the heater for a few months, I began to have a cough and shortness of breath. Wound up in the emergency room admitted to the hospital, a young 30-year-old healthy individual . All the tests came back negative. While in the hospital, I got much better, every time I start feeling better I’d get in the sauna, thinking it would help. I noticed a trend. My breathing would start deteriorating the next day very consistently. I decided to not use the sauna for a few weeks and was fully recovered. Once I figured out, it was the sauna heater, causing my issues. I took it out of the sauna. Noticed that the heating element was burning the steel plate that holds the rocks. Which looked to be made of galvanized steel not stainless. After talking to my pulmonologist, he said, inhalational injury, from inhaling galvanized smoke described all the symptoms I was having. Since then, I’ve bought the Harvia 8 kW heater although it does cost a lot more. It is so much hotter, heats up so much faster and I am back being active and using the sauna

Easy replacement.
Great product. Used it to replace my 15 year old heater in my 6x7 sauna. Easy to install since I had already done the wiring. 180 to 200 degrees in about 1/2 hour.

Easy to install
Very pleased, delivered faster than promised, and with my sauna down for a week, it was greatly appreciated. Great unit upgraded from my 6k, and now it heats in 35 minutes instead of 60 minutes.
