These are well made nice books. I know one reviewer said the pages are a bit transparent and they are but nothing that interferes with reading for me. I am happy that I purchased these as my paperbacks were worn out long ago and it is difficult to find an affordable set of hardbacks. These are definitely worthy of gifting.I have loved the Anne books for years and am pleased to have a good set now.

I read these books as a child and later on as a adult. So I was so pleased to see a set of the novels. They are well made and have a nice ribbon book mark. I am very pleased with my purchase.

The books are a of pretty good quality! Yes the paper is thin but most books have. The thin paper itself is high quality, feels really nice and smells good. i love the texture and the design of the cover. I got scared to buy this because of a review saying that it was bad quality and "not meant for real use" so if you have been wanting to buy this set and that review made you scared just buy it. I've never been more happy about a decision like this!

Lovely books and the look and quality of them is also great. I can definitely recommend them!
