i got this quickly. took only a few minutes to replace the one on my boat trailer that failed. this spins under load very easily. has only been on a week, so don't have long-term usage data. but this does just what I need it to do.

I previously used a single-wheel RAM 1500 jack that consistently sank deep into my gravel yard and eventually failed due to a broken gear tooth. In contrast, this jack has so far performed far better and feels much sturdier. I mounted it on the extended tongue next to the winch stand, as the included bracket did not fit my aluminum trailer frame. That was a bit unexpected, especially given the claimed 8,000 lb capacity, which suggests it should accommodate more versatile or heavy-duty mounting configurations. The mounting hardware included only nylon lock nuts—no washers or lock washers—and if they are stainless, they don't match the higher-grade stainless used elsewhere on my Magic Tilt trailer. I’ll likely replace them with proper marine-grade stainless hardware. Overall, I would purchase this jack again for this application.

We had to make a few adapters to make this fit, but it was worth it. This jack was about 8" taller than the old one and it moves up/down a little slower. However, turning the handle is much easier.

My tongue jack seized while on a trip. I unbolted and limped home 2 days later using a tire jack, and this new one was sitting on my doorstep when I arrived. Quick installation, and way better than what came on my 2017 NEO 18+5 sled trailer.

The seller doesn't specify the mounting plate measurements and what size frame or tongue this jack will fit. In my case, the tongue is square tube 5 7/8" top to bottom and based on another customer's answer that this jack would fit a 6" frame, I bought the jack. Unfortunately, that answer was wrong and the mounting plate on this jack can only fit a tongue or frame up to 5 3/4". To be clear, the plate on the jack is a little over 6" but the bolt holes in the plate and the backing plates would only for a 5 3/4" tongue/frame or smaller. Since I really like the way this jack works and my boat trailer needs a new jack, I'm going to modify this enough to make it fit, adding a longer backing plate and extending the plate on the jack itself. So I'm taking off one star because now I'm going to spend another $40-50 on blots and parts to make this work.
