I had both sinks and my tub clogged. I had done everything I could do to unstop the clog. I had seen a plumber use this many years and I took a picture of it thinking if one day I had a clogged drain, I would buy this. Well, that day came! I ordered it. I was so glad I did! It is easy to work and it works awesome!! Almost instant! I just love it! Everyone needs to have this, it is as essential as a hammer!

Good quality and simple to use. It did the job and saved me money and time. Be ready to prepare the workplace because it becomes a nasty business. However, the metal snake is relatively easy to clean. Make sure to clean it and dry it before pushing it back in place for storage. A great buy all around.

We had a sink that kept backing up no matter how many times we used draino. It would work for a few days but then it would back up again. So I knew there was something more than a "regular" clog. I removed the p trap and still didn't find our issue.This auger was available with overnight shipping to my area so it came super fast. The reason it's only a 4 star vs a 5 star is that it couldn't get past a bend in our pipes. For some reason the pipes make a 90 degree bend to the right rather than down and it just couldn't get around that. I tried several times with different techniques but it just wouldn't work.I believe that for most applications this tool would be excellent to help with clogged drains, but it just didn't work for my situation. The tool is decent quality, it feels as if it would stand up to years of moderate use for the average homeowner.Downsides to this product, doesn't seem to be able to maneuver around side to side bends in pipes. Other than that, there are no downsides to mention. Good tool to have around the house.

Great product, just as advertised. And the pair of gloves was super nice to have. It immediately cleared the clog that I had been struggling with for a while and was super simple to use.

You can use an electric drill or driver on it, but don't go whole hog on the speed, it's cheaply made. By hand is enough to get rid of some of the nastiest of clogs. Afterwards, just pitch it in the trash, or clean it if hair clogs are a common occurrence. Although I would highly recommend investing in a hair catch, their cheap and prevent this sort of build up.

Clunky and dinky and creaky and very manual. But it’s the only thing that worked!!!

My husband and I had a terrible clog in our new house, and we bought This Auger. It cleared the clog and was easy peasy! It is lightweight and easy to use. The storage capacity is nice as it’s smaller in size and fits in our closet with ease. I’m so glad we have good water flow restored to our bath tub again! 10/10 Would recommend!

The manual piece feels very sturdy and strong, no issues there especially with the weight of the whole unit itself.The automatic bit is nice to have, but it isn't very thick, so I wouldn't try anything with high torque on these guys in fear of shearing off the bit.Otherwise, collects the hair and removes grease easily, would recommend watching a video or two online showing how they work.Easy to remove the hair off these augers as well, a paper towel and less than 30 seconds removed all the hair and left it looking new.
