Darda 50375 Formula Racing toy Car,Mercedes Benz SLS AMG mystic white

I bought three of these cars for my son and grandsons. Brilliant reactions - memories of childhood from their daddy.

This car is alright, my grandson loves it, although it is too long and light to go round loops. I was rather disappointed with it, having been used to the heavier, die cast models. Our track is a very old one, and this car won't go around the narrower curved ends, although it works well on the tracks with wider curves.

Darda still the best toy car

This buy was extremely poor value for money. The car broke within the first morning of use. Sadly, it was poorly manufactured, very flimsy and in my opinion not fit for purchase. Nothing short of daylight robbery.

This plastic car seems to behave much like the traditional alloy ones of the 1970s when alone on Darda track. However, it is considerably lighter and fitting the motor into a Serie 10 Beach Buggy that unit performed poorly so implying that the modern (made in China) motor is less powerful than the original (made in West Germany) unit. The car also has a much longer front overhang which potentially gives problems on heavily curving loops. The main problem with this car though is that when fitted with a 'Stop&Go' motor  Darda 50420 Stop and go Motor - Circuit Accessories  it tends to come to pieces when shunted from the rear (the whole object of the 'stop&go' motor) and that motor seemed to fit only with a tyre fouling the body when in the 'stop' position.Its an OK car when used by itself on the track and without anything else to compare it to but it has little to recommend it (compared to the historic design) except for its comparatively cheap price and its availability in 2012!(Don't forget that you must use Darda track - carpet and similar will significantly reduce performance and life!)

Darda cars and tracks are simply great fun. Definitely not "children only".Incredibly fast and agile. And the special offer on this Mercedes SLS was superb value.I grabbed four: a couple will get custom paint jobs.

Von der Bestellung bis zur Lieferung war alles Top.Und das Auto macht was es soll, es bringt den Kindern leuchten in die Augen wenn es durch die Strecke flitzt.

Weil im Lieferumfang nur 2 Autos zur Bahn geliefert wurden. Musste Ersatz bei. Funktioniert alles prima.

Unsere erste Bahn ist mittlerweile über 20 Jahre alt. Für Kinder Zwischen 4 und 10 Jahren eine Bahn ohne irgendwelchen Schnickschnack. Die Bahn-Variationen sind unkompliziert umzubauen. Ersatz-Autos gibt es auch.
