Used this for soccer games for two people stinging stands. Worked great. Blocked the wind, kept us warm. Easy to put back in the bag. Bought purple for school color. The bag is nice and strap on it big enough to put on shoulder to free up hands. Not heavy to carry. Recommend this purchase

I have a small collection of camping blankets that I used for different things. Most of them are "sleeping bag" material on both sides...lovely against the skin and plenty warm, but they are very slippery. I wanted a blanket that was sleeping bag fabric on one side but fleece on the other, to use over my sleeping bag on those super cold nights out camping. My existing blankets slid around and found their way off of the sleeping bag within minutes. This blanket not only has the fleece on one side which makes it stay on top of the sleeping bag, but it also has a fairly stiff shape. It holds it's shape on top of my sleeping bag which is super nice. This blanket isn't cushy and plush and soft, it is functional, warm and will do it's job without fuss. I like that about it very much. The blanket has several string loops on one side and a fastener on the other end of the same side. I tried to "wear" the blanket around my shoulders and it was not comfortable for that. I am 5'7" tall and the corners drug on the ground when I had it wrapped around my shoulder. So I won't be using this feature. BUT...that big size means that it's perfect for what I got it for...bedding. This blanket is surprisingly well made. It's the nicest one that I have in that way. I got the "purple" one. It's exactly as shown on the website...more of a periwinkle blue/purple rather than a true "collegiate" purple. It's beautiful. If you are looking for a blanket for outdoor camping, picnics, outdoor sport games etc, I would definitely recommend this one. If you want something to wear around your shoulders to keep you warm, you might want to consider something else.

I use this to go outside and smoke. It is absolutely amazing to block the cold, wind, snow, rain etc! Highly recommend!!

Keeps you warm! Took this to the Tigers game. Only issue is trying to roll it back up and get into the bag.
