And I like it that it's got magnesium, not entirely calcium. I bought two bottles cheap when they were discontinued at a local store, then ordered more on Amazon because I like the taste better than either Pepcid or store brand. Even though Duo Fusion is Zantac branded, there's no Zantac (Ranitidine) in the formula, it's Pepcid (Famotidine). ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars tastes awful, not very effective *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on September 28, 2016* I had high hopes this product would help with my chronic, severe acid reflux, and I've been an enthusiastic fan of the traditional Zantac acid reducer pills. Sadly, I feel the Duo Fusion product falls way short of the mark. In their attempt to combine an acid reducer + antacid into a chewable tablet, they ended up with a product that tastes awful, isn't an effective acid reducer for someone with severe acid reflux, and is basically just a really expensive Tums with a terrible, "mediciney" aftertaste you won't easily get out of your mouth. If that's what they think cool mint tastes like, they must be sucking on the dirt-covered roots ("you're doing it wrong!").Two stars because it still works as an immediate, short-term antacid, and because I'd rather lean towards constructive criticsm in the hopes they might try to improve the product. (Optimistic wishful thinking, I know...) I do think the concept has merit, and I'd like them continue developing it. Given more time, perhaps they will improve the effectiveness of the acid reducer component (hopefully not too difficult a task for the makers of Zantac) while improving the flavor to something a little more tolerable.
