Great phone at a good price
This rating takes into account price and quality. In many ways it's not a good as my older Huawei that was damaged but it's not much worse either. It works great, looks great and the price is really good for what you get. There's a little bloat in apps, batterlife could be better as it does need charging pretty bad at the end of the day and I wish my version had wireless charging but when purchasing I hadn't realized how much I had grown to like it. Not a deal breaker for me but it's the one issue I feel strongly about. The speakers being both at the top and bottom make it sound great and I oddly love the calculator app that's built in. Great scientific calculator and some built in conversation for currency, temperature and other measurements, useful for me at least. Everything runs smoothly and the screen quality is really good. Overall if you're considering it go for it.

Solid device in 2025
A really solid device, honestly. I was previously using an S22 Ultra until the cellular antenna went bad, switched to a moto g stylus 2024 which was cool, but I wanted something more premium with similar features, and after a bit of research I landed on the Note 13 Pro 5G. -Connectivity: I'm US based on a T-Mobile plan. Device works with no issues. Was stated that comparability might be a thing, but it works as any other device I've used on the network. Doesn't support e-sim, got a physical card and it's been smooth sailing. -Security: Only negative I'd say is the face unlock. Will work accurately in well lit situations but cannot be used for biometric unlocking (Banking and finance appsfor instance) so it's a little half cocked, but still functional to an extent. Keep that in mind. If you don't mind not having a privacy screen protector, then fingerprint will work with a regular glass no problem for biometrics. -General features: Camera is good, definitely better than Motorola, almost as good as Samsung. I prefer having an aux connector, and the ir blaster is fun to use and is useful in general. Storage is good despite not having sd expansion. Processing speed is good (better with a few tweaks in developer options and changing ram settings). Hyper OS reminds me of custom roms and the customization is really good. Battery life is solid, haven't noticed the device getting too hot or anything like that. I am a little sketchy about the lithium polymer battery and long term use but I'll cross that bridge when I cross it. So far so good though after a few weeks of use. Build quality is really good just be sure to get camera protectors or a good case for the lens bump on the rear. Really good phone.

Great Phone
So far great phone, very dependable, not too heavy and the screen size is perfect. The fingerprint reader to this day is impressive for an 1 year old buy.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro is a solid phone
Solid phone. Face detection needs plenty of light! So, it's not great. Other than this, this Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G is a solid, reliable phone. The cameras are pretty good.

One of the best phones you can get for $300
I was previously using the Redmi note 10 pro and made the switch to the 13 pro (which has an even lower price point at the time of purchase). Here are my thoughts after using it for the past few months: Pros of the 13 pro: - Very efficient battery (I can go 2 days without charging if I use it moderately) - Good camera, esp for a budget phone (although I'm not sure if I can turn off the auto-focus / auto-blur function). The top camera (for close-range shots) is super clear, but the bottom one (for zoomed out shots) is on the fuzzier side, unfortunately. - High storage: having 256 GB really set aside my worries with going overboard on my photo gallery. - Great aesthetics: whoever designed it did a wonderful job cause it's probably the prettiest phone I've owned to date. Cons: - Doesn't show any call indicators, so I can't just "tap into" my ongoing call. Instead, I have to go into my phone app in order to view the call or visit the App Vault, which can be annoying. - Xiaomi transfer between phones didn't work the best; I'll probably have to get a usb-c to -c cable to connect my two phones to successfully transfer all the loose ends. Overall, I think this is a really great phone with neat features, and has made me excited for future iterations of the Redmi Note series.

Best Value for Budget Smart Phone.
This phone is feature rich compared to other smart phones and at a great price. The Android OS on this phone is very intuitive with allot free wall papers and themes. The biometrics on this phone are exceptional and easy to program. Fast processor allows to work quickly and the 1080P is more than adequate. Comes with a great web browser and email client also. Highly recommend this phone for its great features and good working phone that doesn't break the bank.

Meh
Full of bloat and it pushes AI on you, but that can be dealt with. But recently it started disconnecting from my WiFi and I don't know how to deal with that. Connect automatically is turned on, but it doesn't work. And yeah, the power adapter is European.
