I would think that you could, but I would warn that it is extremely salty. Thanks for the idea, I may try this with olive oil as a rub as well (but, sparingly).

I am sorry , I do not know about slaughtered animals of your question . I think this powder made from artificial seasoning . It is not really ideal for heath, I guess.
