I will say that I am extremely doubtful that this is solid gold. It’s way too hard to manipulate. Having said that, I am not exactly paying gold prices here so it’s all good. My advice is to gently pull it apart (sideways) just enough to fit it over your nostril. Once in, do your best to close it back.
