Bought for a broken toe recovery. Used from day 3 after swelling reduced slightly. The sizes are US so take care when ordering to order the correct UK size. I’m 6.5 women’s and a small fit perfectly. The shoe alters to be for a left or right foot via altering the front Velcro closure. It works perfectly. Easy to get the injured foot in, adjustable - all Velcro. It keeps that foot flat footed whilst healing, but it allows mobility with care with a nasty broken toe recovery.

This came up larger but perfect size . A bit of room to spare. Could do with a little more support around the ankle . But all straps are adjustable which is very good.

Hopefully most won't be in need of this item but following a rather unfortunate accident involving my hallux ( big toe) which was in incarcerated in plaster, this shoe proved a life saver. Even after plaster removal normal shoe wear was impossible for many weeks. Okay its not a fashion item but who cares when limping around. The straps are totally adjustable with Velcro. Fits snuggly and comfortably. Not suitable for driving though. Hopefully I will not be needing this again but it stays safely in the back of the wardrobe in case. Not just for silly accidents either, post operative foot surgery patients will benefit from this shoe. Well worth the price.

For basics use is OK but unfortunately the size is slightly smaller than on the description and going back. It's important with this kind of use to be precise.

I got a size L and I’m a size 9 without the cast. It fits great and and is sturdy.The hospital gave me a blue shoe with white lining and it looked like a circus shoe no matter what I was wearing, this black one is much more subtle and partnered with my croc sandals it actually doesn’t look bad at all. It’s comfortable and easy to put on by yourself.I would definitely recommend.

The shoe looks fine and am sure is good for various foot ailments but alas not mine. I have a fractured bone in my foot (lateral metatarsal) and the structure of this shoe just didn't work for me. The pronounced arch support made the shoe rock slightly which was the worst thing for my injury - I need a very firm sole and firm side support. Returned with regret.
