Clean Ingredients, Great Taste (Chocolate)
I had previously purchased Sports Research Creatine, so I was curious about the protein powder offerings. This protein blends well, has a generous scoop size, and a list of clean ingredients. The dutch chocolate flavor is tasty and doesn't have an artificial aftertaste to it. There are a few cons for certain individuals. CONS: -Contains milk and tree nuts -Noticeable amount of sodium. Those with allergies or on a low sodium diet should probably opt for another product. We all know that the average consumer of protein powder has multiple servings a day, so sodium intake will be moderate to high.

Great protein powder for regular
This whey protein isolate has a great flavor. If you regularly drink protein shakes, you might find artificial sweet flavors get tiresome pretty quickly. The flavor in this protein isn't overly sweet and doesn't have a strong artificial taste.

Very rich (sweet) flavor in a large scoop; mixes well and Informed Sport tested
This is the first time I’ve tried this powder as I’ve been looking for one I like at a reasonable cost with good protein:calorie ratio. With protein being about 4cal/g, that means this is around 67% calories from protein per scoop (100/150). Much of the extra calories come from the added MCTs since fats are close to 9cal/g, but in the limited research I’ve read, the benefits of MCTs are unclear. That said, this powder is DEFINITELY rich chocolate—it mixes thick in milk (which I then pour coffee into), almost like a shake, and is about as sweet as hot chocolate made by dissolving a chocolate bar instead of using powdered mix. The flavor is good, but many will definitely find it too sweet. I use a handheld milk frother to mix mine and very rarely have any clumps unless the whole scoop dives in at one time: it is a LARGE scoop at 106cc and even my frother struggles to mix it all at once. I’ve included a comparison pic to Rival Whey’s scoop (67cc) and Optimum Nutrition Whey Isolate’s scoop (70cc) for reference. I really like the fact that this brand is transparent about being third party-tested through the Informed Sport process and it is displayed prominently on the packaging. Not every company does this step so it gives peace of mind that what is on the label is in the product: so many companies skip the is step because of costs, or if they do test, they’re secretive about who does the testing, what they test for, and what the results are and that makes me wonder if the contents actually match what’s on the label (studies have shown that some powders contain less than HALF of the claimed protein amounts). That’s not the case here, so even if this isn’t the BEST protein, the cost is reasonable (~$1 per serving when I bought it) and I definitely feel like I can trust what is in it. Honestly, the testing is why I rated it 4 stars instead of 3, because it was a little bit too sweet for me (though perfectly drinkable) and the MCTs probably contributed to the “bubble gut belches” I experienced for about 10 minutes after drinking it if I wasn’t drinking it in my coffee throughout the morning. I may buy it again in the future, but for now I’m sticking to isolates with better than 80% of their calories coming from protein.

Great taste
Great taste , especially if you mix it in with coffee. Gives me a great kick start to my daily protein goals.

Delicious Vanilla Flavor
This vanilla was my favorite protein powder ever. It really is the first protein powder that I can honestly say is delicious. I really love it with 5 grams of powdered ginger added. It dissolves easily and mixes well in a blender or blender bottle. No gritty texture. A high quality protein and does not contain sugar or inflammatory sucralose. So sad that it seems like they stopped making it. Also, be aware that the chocolate which does seem to still be available does not taste nearly as good and does contain sucralose. I also like that it creates less plastic waste coming in a bag but I did pour into a reused plastic container for easier use.

Yuck
1. Price is great regardless but especially for isolate protein. 2. Great on fat and carb content. 3. Also includes MCT oils and leucine. 4. Blends well and I like the bag instead of the big plastic container protein normally comes in. However, it is the worst tasting vanilla protein powder I have ever had and I have tried numerous different ones. I can handle some less than tasty things for the sake of heath and fitness too. This is so bad that every morning when I eat my oats with vanilla protein powder, I wonder how am I going to be able to stand this for 5 pounds?! One star because no matter how good a product is, if it is nasty and totally ruins your breakfast, how can you give it more than one?
