The hood is removable and collar turns down, the jacket looks much better than the photo, can be worn out in any casual setting, walking dog etc. looks more like a traditional cotton jacket than a modern winter jacket. Pockets for shells very functional

I got one size larger than I would normally wear, when just wearing a jacket, so that I can wear layers underneath.The sleeves are long for me, but with the velcro straps at the wrists, it's easy to keep the sleeves from covering my hands.The "suspenders" are very handy when I need to remove the jacket from my arms and most of my torso, but keep the jacket off of the ground or hanging it on something.The material is very good rugged quality and will last for a long time.The stitching is well done.There are plenty of snap, zippers, and other adjustments for various things from the hood all the way to the bottom.There are only two things that I don't like:1. The price, but I'm sure a bit of that comes from being branded by Beretta.2. There is only one inside pocket.

I got this jacket for hunting but found its perfect for everyday use as well. I am about 5’8”, 190(ish) pounds, I chose large, and the fit is just right. It is very waterproof and breathable. When walking the woods, I do not get overheated with it on. It is warm but you would still want to layer the deeper you get into fall/ winter if you are sitting in a tree stand (at least in Western NY). It has plenty of pockets and I really like that the hood is detachable. The one standout feature is that it does not make the swishy noises of other jackets, it is very quiet when walking around. I said it’s perfect for everyday use and it is. It has a nice style to it (if your style is that of an outdoorsman) and will stand up well to a Western NY winter whether in the woods or bouncing around from town to camp.
